"I'm reviewing this as a guest and not a patron since I don't have a library card here but have visited multiple times with young children. The library is clean and well-organized. It is a great place to relax and read, safe and comfortable from the rain, cold, sun, or heat. There are flyers with information about community and library events which are very helpful! There are fun decorations and is a good selection of books my kids wanted to read. There also appears to be a large selection of movies and TV shows on the front and some in the children's area. The children's area has some toys to play with and there was a scavenger hunt activity as well. There's a teens-only lounge area which is nice to have. I loved the bookmarks that had books suggestions based on of you like various books or series like Wings of Fire."

"They had great family activities before the pandemic. I Hope they do them again. This Library continues to stay updated. They did a recent remodel here. They now have self check out machines"

"I have a confession to make: Growing up, the library was one of my favorite places to visit. This library, helped remind me how much I loved it. I love how they have a few different sections, for kids, teens, and adults. They have a few tables and a tv, set aside, that is just for teens... Which, I love.. My friend and i, and his two daughters, hung out in the kids section for 30 minutes and all 4 of us had fun. I was surprised how many DVDs there were here, but I guess things have changed from when I was a kid 25 years ago. Haha"

"Great library for kids! It’s fantastic for everyone but essentially kids. They’ve adapted to the health guideline quite well. They have take home craft kits that my kids absolutely adore. I highly recommend the discovery kits if you have kids (my daughter loves the space kit) or the adventure kits for everyone else (things like kayaks, snowshoes, telescopes, and stuff like that)."

"This library may seem small from the outside, but it packs the best books & resources in there! Blown away by how well done this library is. Amazing selection of kid nonfiction, and all the classics for picture books & juvenile chapter books. The librarians are super helpful in recommendations, getting your library card, and checking out. I love their take-home activities/crafts with links to recorded videos of the librarians reading the story! Highly recommend their themed discovery kits!! We’ve done the pirates & Harry Potter kits so far, and they were **wins** with LEGOs and very interactive unique books/games—wish they could be checked out for longer than 1wk or renewable. Convenient no-touch scanner for checking out, and easy to search for & place holds on items! There’s an entire teen lounge area that may have been a diner before with booths. Payson Library is doing it right!"
