"Never been accepted but they do give you information on where you may be able to find help."
"Unhelpful with abuse cases. They don’t know how to be aggressive and get things done when you’re dealing with an abusive person who stalks you, harasses, threatens you, and won’t leave you alone. The abuser ended up harassing the pro-bono lawyer via emails, where they ended up dropping the case shortly after, which only allowed the abuser to continue their intrusive behaviors leaving a victim, who is unable to afford a lawyer, feel unsafe."
"I was pointed to them for some legal help. I have called 3 or 4 times and left messages every time. And nobody will calle back. So I will probably go elsewhere for help. That's why I'm a Utes fan..."
"I have contacted these guys 3 times, and not one time did they help me. They acted like I was asking for a corporate ĺinching or a serious criminal defense, but not even close. I was simply asking for the law and help with a public verbal abuse and intent to harm me. I'm a disabled older lady who stopped for a cup of coffee and ended up being called names and chased to my car by a very angry and disturbed man. I needed someone to help me as it's a big, uncaring group of people I cannot fight on my own, and when ones income is closer to obsolete than an income, one can not afford an attorney. I believe that these guys need to look beyond their pocketbooks and glass houses and help make it safer by holding the ones that we fear accountable for the terrible way they treat people that are weaker in some ways than they are!! In closing, I would like to thank the disability law center for seeing me for more than a taker on welfare because I certainly am not!!!!"
"Not sure about others experiences but I can tell you they have been so great with me. They were patient with all my questions and they were so helpful when paperwork needed to be filled out. I never felt like I was a burden or another number. I am so grateful they were around to help me because I would not be getting the benefits I am had they not helped me."
