"This place was so good, I came here twice in two days to try more of the menu. Highly authentic flavors, fast, and delicious! Be sure to get the Mayuku Bomb for a beautiful mouth-numbing spice bomb! Staff are helpful and thoughtful. I recommend sitting at the bar to see all the action in the open kitchen."
"When it comes to flavor this place is definitely not lacking. The ramen and app’s were really good. Will definitely tell all my friends about this place and bring people here as well. Salt Lake has a new ramen joint that hits!"
"This restaurant is the closest I've ever felt to being in Japan, except possibly New York. The ordering style is somewhat of a modernized ticket ramen shop. I would definitely recommend the lotus chips, they're addictive. If you are very hungry, or have a large appetite you should order extra noodles. Though I appreciate the portion sizes, because I refuse to waste food and don't enjoy making myself sick trying to finish everything on my plate. The portions here were perfect for me. I somewhat regret the other restaurants in Salt Lake I've given five-stars, because Koyote is out of their league. I was half expecting all the workers to yell ありがとうございます as I left."
"Such a great new spot in Slc! Feels more authentic to a Japanese ramen bar. You can be comfortable there alone or with friends. Easy to order and pay from your phone without waiting for servers. Food: the ramen was so good, but the wings were actually my favorite thing I tried! Design: loved the interior, has a great vibe. They just opened so they were slightly understaffed but it’s gonna be a great spot for salt lake"
"APPETIZER: Mabo tofu is very saucy, good spice level and flavorful 5/5 Atsu kimchi was decent 3/5 Sake don tasted fresh and citrusy 4/5 RAMEN: the Classic ramen 5/5 tasty, creamy flavorful broth, chashu pork was tender and marinated egg was cooked seasoned perfectly! Added mushroom to it and it was amazing. GLUTEN FREE RAMEN: 3/5 I do appreciate them making sure it’s 100% safe for celiac but the broth was bland. Chashu pork tender but flavorless and the egg was soft boiled and unseasoned. The noodles were okay texture and although I’m happy to finally see a gluten free option the flavors can be improved NOTE: For those with a true gluten allergy the gf ramen is a decent option but for those like myself with some sensitivity & can tolerate some gluten I highly recommend getting the classic ramen (much more flavor) and swapping the noodles to gluten free which thankfully is an option. If you order extra noodles be prepared for less broth and I hope they’ll be able to have bigger bowls to accommodate this. They were kind enough to give me extra broth after I asked. SERVICE: I am impressed with the overall quality of the food and service. Nice simple ambiance. Ordering through your phone was convenient however since there is no server, if there is an issue you’ll have to flag down someone like the host or manager and they were great with helping us. We came at 530pm on Thursday with no wait and by 630pm the dinner crowd came through and I started to see people wait for a table. Overall pleased and will come back to try more next time."
