"I hired Peter Kern six months ago to help me with some custody matters. He has excellent online reviews, but my experience with Peter has been disappointing, to say the least. He helped me with three hearings and a mediation and only one of those had somewhat of a favorable outcome for me. He was extremely underprepared on my last hearing and it resulted in me losing the case and having to pay the other party’s attorney fees. Upon receiving Peter’s invoices, it seemed that his approach was to nickel and dime me, including charging me for brief text messages with his assistant. His response time on emails was so delayed that the response was often no longer helpful. He also had many phone issues that frequently disrupted our phone calls, resulting in more time and expense. I’m not sure if Peter has too many clients and this was the reason for his last-minute work and lack of preparation.
