"We get all of our cakes here. In the 18 years that I've lived here, every cake has been exceptionally moist and delicious. Well, there's a first time for everything. I placed my order too late, so I purchased a lemon cake from the display case for a birthday party. Yuck, very dry and tasted like refrigeration. I won't make that mistake again, but I will definitely order cakes again as usually they are the best in town along with all the other numerous items they make from scratch."

"The staff used to be so friendly, but the young people who work there now act as if they are doing you a favor by waiting on you. After I have spent a fortune on cakes and cookies (and the food is worth the occasional splurge), there is no acknowledgment of your business. They simply turn and walk away. Management needs to train these young people to appreciate their customers’ business."

My daughter wanted to design her own cake this year and we submitted her photo to Merritt's and they paid attention to every single detail - from fire bubbles, to a dragon with butterfly wings, a kitty dragon, a dragon wrapping around the side and climbing up the cake to even a number 7 with flames. This team is amazing and their products are great, always quick and friendly service. We get all of our holiday cakes, just because desserts, and birthday cakes from here now.
