"I feel like I was ripped off and taken advantage of. First off my check engine light was on.They charged me $150 to run a diagnostic test and get code. Most places will do that for free. Second they quoted me $106 to replace a rear backup light bulb that was burned out. Jiffy Lube did this for me for $12. Last they charged me $688 for 4 spark plugs and ignition coil and labor. I would like a call from owner to discuss this but doubt that will happen. I went to them based off of good reviews. I WILL NOT go back."

"This was my first time utilizing the services of Jerry Lambert Automotive. Although they are very close to where I live, the car I own is under warranty, and I take it to a dealership for upkeep. However, I recently purchased a second vehicle, a 2002 Dodge Durango SLT Plus. I bought this from a friend of mine who had had it in his family since buying it new. It had been passed down to their son, who no longer needed it. I bought the vehicle and took it to a different mechanic to look it over. Their quote was outrageous and over 1700 dollars more than the quote I received from Jerry Lambert Automotive. They were also pushing work that didn't seem necessary. After asking around and getting some recommendations from friends (and doing a Google search), the positive response about Jerry Lambert Automotive seemed like a great choice to get a second opinion. Plus, having a reputable mechanic a block from where I live would be nice. Not only did they come in with a lower quote, but they also answered my questions with honesty and integrity. They sent me pictures of the undercarriage of my vehicle and pointed out some problem issues. I had not informed them of visiting a shop before coming to them. Their quote pinpointed similar issues as the first quote, but also showed that my engine and transmission were in good shape. Whereas the other shop was claiming leaks and transmission replacement. There is a lot of dishonesty in this industry. I have been burned before and could have been burned again by this used car inspection. Jerry Lambert Automotive came in at a lower (and a fair rate, at that) to replace my rack and pinion system and got this vehicle to where I could feel safe driving it across the country and back. I am very happy with their service, prices, customer interaction, and information. I will be using them for all my needs involving this Durango and any future cars I come to own.
