"The Auto Body shop is well equipped with tons of tools, everything you'd need from welding/cutting exhaust pipes, tire machine, engine hoist, oil collectors, 2-post lifts, drive-on lifts, metric, empirical, everything. If they don't have your specialty tool, they can buy it for the shop. I did this with an Acura TSX I worked on and also a Volvo S70 T5. They generally have a very knowledgeable mechanic on duty when they're open to help with questions. Free eyeglasses and gloves if you want them. The single 1 star review on here is unjustified in my opinion. These guys are doing this as a part time job that only pays about $12 an hour. They're doing it because they love it, and in their free time. It's an MWR facility, so they have to work with the hours they can get basically volunteers for. That's why the hours fluctuate so much, is because nobody in Utah can work there full time and still afford to live without being a military dependent. They do a phenomenal job with what they have. I've been able to do the following at this location: Replace a rack a pinion, replace oil pan, replace lights, regular oil changes, etc. Honestly, all you're paying for is the oil you want in your car, the oil filter, and about $8 per HOUR on the posts. It's such a great service, and I'm extremely happy that they continue to keep it open even when they're down to one employee/volunteer."
