Reviews of Smith's Pharmacy
"Big compact store .. lots of people priced a little high.. lots of items in stock.. looked clean while I was their.. will go back if needed"
"Recently went and the pharmacy tech was so rude!! I love the pharmacist here but I never experienced a tech so rude."
"Doctor phone in my RX. I called the pharmacy a week later, and they did not fill the prescription. They pharmacist was very rude and snotty over the phone and asked me if I wanted to fill it. I said yes, isn't that what a pharmacy usually does when a doctor phones in a prescription? The pharmacist then made some insulting remarks, rather than apologizing, and finally said yes, they will fill the prescription. It is the first time I've ever been insulted by a pharmacist for wanting to pick up a prescription that was not ready."
"I literally cannot stress enough that this is the worst pharmacy I have ever used. Over the last six or so months, I've made the mistake of using this location to fill about 10 or so prescriptions (so my experiences are apparently not just one bad day). I have not had a single, normal experience where everything went correctly. My prescriptions are routinely not ready even remotely on time, we're talking over a day late, prescriptions have been filled incorrectly, there seems to be a serious disconnect in linking my pets' accounts to mine, and the staff is purely just difficult and unhelpful. Most recently, I watched the staff actively ignore an elderly woman who was trying to pick up her medication. Rather than telling her that they would help her momentarily, they tried to stay out of her line of sight. That's not only weird, but very unprofessional. This pharmacy is just generally sketchy and I strongly question their standards."
"Currently, I’ve been prescribed isotretinoin (accutane) which is a hassle to go through anyway. I have to do monthly doctor visits with a negative pregnancy test then fill out iPledge questions online BEFORE I can get my prescription. I have a seven day window to get the medicine, otherwise, I skip a month and have to do the process again. This is my fourth month on this medicine. I did all the steps I needed to get my medicine. I tried using the app to check if my prescription was ready; the app did not tell me anything. I tried calling and was on hold for a decent amount of time. So instead of waiting, I went to the pharmacy to check. Apparently, there was an issue. On their end, iPledge was not sending information that I completed my questions... although I already did. I brushed it off because one employee there said that the medicine was “out of stock” (?) and that I could come in the next day at 11 am to pick it up. Fast forward to the next day, I come in and there’s still the same problem. Instead of helping to try and solve the problem, they blame iPledge and my prescribing office. They tell me to call them (I don’t see why they couldn’t take the time to do it themselves to resolve the issue). I immediately called my office. They said they could see that I completed the iPledge questions, so they got in touch with the smith’s pharmacy. They told my office the same thing they told me. So my office gave me the number to iPledge. I called and they told me someone at Smith’s had authorized that I picked up my prescription and that they needed to reverse that and re-do the process. I go in AGAIN and they said the same thing without allowing me to talk. I told them what iPledge said, and they took FOREVER to fix it. I waited an HOUR in the store. During this wait, they tell me that they were on the phone with iPledge and they just hung up (?????) so they need to call again and restart. Not ONCE did they say “sorry for the inconvenience,” or “thank you for waiting.” They made me feel like I was asking too much. They NEVER took responsibility for the problem THEY caused. I did not feel any care from the employees. They were rude and just wanted me out of the store. On TOP of this, my medicine was $94. Last month, it was $89. There was no insurance change to make it $5 more. They wouldn’t even bump it down to my normal $89 especially after all the trouble they put me through. I am no longer a customer for them. Good riddance!"
