"Overall I really like Pearson, these people are great at what they do but they definitely could use some better communication skills. They’d be the best shop in the world if only they’d be more clear about the amount of time things will take and when you should get your car back. I had an incident a few months ago where my car had to have something ordered and they didn’t bother to tell me and then didn’t ask if I wanted my car back after they’d had it for 2 days and they were about to close for the weekend. I ran on foot with only a few minutes to spare before closing to get my car back for the weekend since it wouldn’t be getting worked on anyways and it wasn’t an urgent repair, and there’s been a couple other incidents similar to that but much less of a deal. But seriously, overall this is a great business with people who do good quality work at good prices, but if I were you I’d plan on giving them a full day to do whatever you need them to do even if it’s just for oil because you never know when they start working on your car and they don’t update you with info that might impact the timeline of things. They are my go to shop and I trust what they say and do, they never price gouge and never have tried to take advantage of me in any way, but damn they should figure out some sort of system to keep customers more in the loop. However, as I already stated this really is a good and honest business overall and I’ll always trust them with my car and all my future cars and I refer everyone I can to go to them, if you’re still going to predatory dealerships for service you should switch to Pearson. Hopefully my constructive criticism is taken in good faith."

"Jackie was EXCELLENT! She works the front desk and was so kind and professional. We just purchased a car and wanted a mechanic shop to look at it before we purchased. They got us in, did the inspection, gave us a detailed report of their findings and didn’t try and push us on any services. I also really liked that they have prices listed, clear to see, so it’s not a “let’s see how much that costs” answer most mechanic shops do. I would recommend these guys to anyone who lives up in Syracuse and needs service’s."
