"I would like to share my horrible experience at Western Equipment in Alva. I purchased a 468 mega wide baler from them this spring. First off I ask their salesman to get the paperwork going for me over the phone so that once I got there to pick up the baler I wouldn’t have to wait forever for the credit check and all that to get finished nor did I want to make the 840 mile drive from Wyoming to Alva and run into any issues with the purchasing process. The salesman refused and told me I would just have to come in and do all the paperwork and then he run the credit check because he didn’t want me “wasting his time”. I called the manager Steve. He apologized and took care of my credit check and got everything setup for me to sign once I arrived. He actually told me “you must have really good credit because of how fast I was approved”. Turns out I wasn’t wasting anyone’s time. I loaded the baler up and took it home. Once I got it out in the field to run for the first time it had bearings out. I took the baler back to them with 20 more bales on it than when I bought it and they charged me over $4000 in repairs. I had to pay someone to bale my hay for me. I’ll be making the first years lease payment before ever even being able to utilize the equipment I purchased from them. I would like to add that the parts guys out front are very helpful and easy to get along with. Thanks guys. Love Kris"
