"Can’t say enough good things about these people and the people of Stratford. On my way to Colorado, my car crapped out and I limped to Carquest. They immediately got my vehicle in and just a short time later, they ran all the tests and found out it was just a dirty sensor, and only charged me for an hour of labor (although I suspect they spent more time than that.) I had to wait about three hours for my ride. They were hospitable and let me keep my stuff in their place, while I walked to eat. As I was standing there, stranded, random Stratford citizens kept coming up and asking if I needed help. Also, I had to wait outside, way after closing hours, and someone called the police, just to inform. (Not offended at all; I was a stranger and they were just looking out for each other.) The police called the owner/manager, just to let him know some random dude was standing outside his business, which the owner/manager, of course, explained. I actually really appreciated that call because no one knew me and they were just looking out for each other. Carquest and Stratford embody all the good stuff about living in a small town. Very good people here! BTW, the owner/manager helped a customer about half an hour after the 6:00 closing time on a Friday night. ‘Nuff said."

"I didn't have a good experience here. I took my car in for a state inspection. The guy couldn't figure out how to shift my car. Then he wouldn't listen to me when I was telling him how to get to the screen for the mileage. Then he got my bumper stuck on the curb."
