"They’ve become snobby, overpriced pony rides. My son on the spectrum was learning to jump and even had a show! Then new people came in that only care about getting their money and all they’d do is walk him around for 1/2 hr. I suspect now, looking back, it had to do with some super shady board members coming on- there for the tax breaks of course!, getting rid of good employees and getting bratty workers. The most troubling thing is that these same board members daughter was just extradited to Florida for murder of her ex husband; it’s so bad they hired Casey Anthony’s attorney to “defend” her. (And yes, last time I changed my review my Google WAS hacked! NOT suspicious at all!) go at your own risk LITERALLY"

"My daughter has been going to Courage Reins for over 3 years. It is the highlight of the week. She has grown in so many ways as she has developed relationships with the horses. Everyone we have worked with has been so kind and professional. We love Courage Reins! We highly recommend it!"

"The horses are treated well! The staff is very in tune with each of the horses' well-being. They go to great lengths to ensure the horses are well cared for (never overworked). The horses and the clients/riders and safety are top priorities there, clearly. Courage Reins operates year round. They have THREE indoor arenas that offer an escape from the hot sun during lessons. Likewise the indoor arenas are great in the winter! I wish all stables shared the high standards of Courage Reins regarding priorities and horse care. Staff and leadership there are great people."

"My daughter was incredibly excited to begin therapy here. She attended for several months, during which her therapist repeatedly canceled her appointments the same day they were scheduled to occur. Of course, the inconvenience this posed to both my daughter and myself was never considered. However, when our family suffered a sudden death, and my daughter needed a same-day cancelation, this organization hit her account with a $75 charge. Policy or not, this is bad business practice and goes against everything this company claims to stand for. We expected understanding. We expected support. Instead, it was all about the money they felt they were out. This also happened yo be the time my daughter let them know she would be discontinuing therapy at Courage Reins because she felt they were not adequately paying attention to or addressing her mental health needs. While we were told repeatedly this charge would be refunded, it was not, and both our calls and e-mails were ignored. Never mind the likely thousands of dollars they billed our insurance, they felt entitled to an additional $75 as a punitive measure when our family suffered a loss we could not have anticipated. Beware. They pretend to care about the mental health of their clients, but it’s really all about their bottom line."
