"Asked a staff member if the expansion was done and their reply was. (Is there a specific reason your asking)… lol! Need I say more?!"
"The station doesnt care about kids and apparently doesnt like to accept $100 for the city of Moore. Why is the youth sport registration deadline non negotiable a month before practice begins? How hard is it to accept my money and let my kid play for the coach he played for last year?"
"Nothing about the recreation center gives me community vibes. The only parks and recreation where you have to bring bills with all adult members names on the them, and birth certificates for your children to add them to passes you pay for - because it's not enough that your tax dollars are paying for this public service. You can't bring snacks for your kids if you go to the pool because they want you to pay for their concessions. As a mother and formally educated school teacher, this one was troubling. So if your kids come to swim for a day and you cannot afford their concessions, you don't get to eat. They also check your bags to make sure there's no snacks in there - your purses aren't excluded. They're not checking for weapons or dangerous objects either, because they're having kids/teens checking them. A place where community can come and enjoy their day - or not. There's nothing welcoming or friendly about this place."
"Moore has really nice parks all over town. The community center is very large, clean, and well-managed. Workout facilities don’t get any better than this one. The nearby stage has great bands from time to time with plenty of food trucks."
