"As an adult learner, I was worried the lessons were going to be boring for me at first. However, no matter how old you are, you can learn something new about horses and horse riding every lesson. My instructor Lexi is very patient and you can tell she knows a lot about horses. I'm in two-person group lessons, but she can taylorize her instruction based on our levels.The horses here are very well kept. The lessons are worthy trying if you like horses!"

"Our 7 year old daughter has LOVED horseback riding lessons and Tyson (the owner) has been great to work with. While our daughter always enjoyed lessons, we as parents had an issue with one of the instructors because we didn’t feel that she was as engaged as she could’ve been and didn’t seem to have as much of a structure for teaching new skills as we would’ve liked. When we let Tyson know he was very responsive and helped us find an instructor that was a better fit and we have been very satisfied since."

"If you want a good "home barn", this is it! DD Ranch offers both horse boarding and lessons. They board their horses the natural way, in a herd, with access to food and water at all times. Happy Horses! Their lessons are very good, and their trainers are knowledgeable. There are no harsh or mean trainers like at some other barns. The trainers are sensitive to both the students and the horses. I learned a lot about horses and riding during my lessons there. My mustang Mia is very happy being in her herd at DD Ranch, even if she does keep trying to be the alpha mare!"
