"My husband and I took the Defensive Handgun 101 course with Kevin and Wade. I had been too nervous to practice much with my handgun. That is, until I took this course! I had no idea about the things Kevin teaches in these courses, and I'm so grateful for the information and training we received. He's been taking courses over the years to be so informed and to share with students. He was also aware of my health issues and allowed time for me to rest so I could manage the entire day. "My wife and I took the Defensive Handgun 101 course today with Kevin and Wade. It was fantastic! My wife is now comfortable with her hand gun, and we both learned so much that we never understood from simple target practice. Both instructors are knowledgeable and experienced, having taken courses all over and for many years. There are police officers who take these courses, too, because of Kevin's extensive knowledge. The demonstrations were thorough and gave me an added sense of confidence when handling my weapon. And it was fun. Kevin, Wade and Kirk did a great job with our group. There were experienced and unexperienced shooters in our class and we all took away something from the training. I'll definitely be taking my daughters to this class."
"I was amazed at all they fit into a 1 day course! I have taken other courses and we had to book hotels, take time off work, spend a couple days traveling back and forth- it all adds up. But with Worth a Shot, we got a great experience, learned skills i didn't know i needed (or didn't already know), and the improvements i made and the confidence i gained with my own weapon was appreciated. Even though they fit alot into a full one day course, i didn't feel rushed or too overwhelmed. I highly recommend their courses. It's definately worth a shot!"
