"I went in to try on a pair of shoes. It was awkward because the sales lady acted too fast and impatient with me wanting to get the size just right. I've been dancing since I was 3 so I know how the shoes should fit. She also didn't inform me BEFORE I started trying on shoes that there was a $20 fitting fee if I didn't buy any. I wanted a $200+ pair of shoes (so it needs to be the right fit), but they didn't have my size in womens. The sales lady tried to convince me to get the men's version that was too wide. I ultimately went away with no shoes. The sales lady even started telling me a story about another customer that wouldn't pay the $20 fitting fee because they also didn't have a shoe in the proper size. It was awkward to hear the sales rep complain about another customer in front of me. It was an awkward experience, and I think I'll look for other shoe sources in the future."
