"Best park location good restaurant and snack place. MEUTER MEDIA need permit for Angel's Landing minimum a day ahead"
"It is a beautiful lodge with comfortable rustic seating inside and rustic rocking chairs outside in the shade. We walked along the rover from stop 6 after hiking the Emerald Pools trails and Kayenta trail. We enjoyed a short, refreshing wait in the rocking chairs before boarding the shuttle to Weeping Rock."
"It was a pretty autumn day so it couldnt be anything but beautiful. Despite being too many people and the hustle and commotion of the buses. I'm not a fan. I think it has detracted from the overall beauty and their goal has been anything but successful. I'm sure I am wrong too. I just remember last time by I was there pre-bus was much less confusing and more open feeling. But that was 30 years ago. What made it special for me was seeing the area where they filmed "The Eiger Sanction," a Clint Eastwood classic. The old lodge has been replaced and the swimming pool is now a parking lot. It was still great though envisioning Eastwood and George Kennedy hanging about with the film crew in 1975. What a better era."
"After leaving the visitors center, this is the next best place to buy stuff. Food, souvenirs, bathrooms, water refills, lock up your bikes, etc. There’s a HUGE tree with a surrounding lawn to relax on, although everyone has the the same idea so can be a bit crowded."
