Historic Pine Valley Chapel
About the Business
The Historic Pine Valley Chapel, located at 52 West Main Street in Pine Valley, Utah, is a beautiful church and place of worship that also serves as a popular tourist attraction. As members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, we believe in and worship Jesus Christ as the Son of God and Savior of the World. Our faith in Jesus brings us peace and hope, and we strive to follow His teachings and example in our lives.
Our Sunday worship services, known as sacrament meetings, include songs, prayers, and sermons given by members of the congregation. We also partake of the sacrament to remember the Savior. In addition to our main worship service, we offer classes for children, youth, and adults.
Our temples are sacred places where members make special covenants with God and strengthen family bonds for eternity. The Book of Mormon, along with the Bible, teaches us about God and Jesus Christ and helps us draw closer to them. We also believe in the importance of the Bible as the word of God and a source of joy in our lives.
Whether you're looking to learn more about our beliefs, attend a worship service, or simply explore our beautiful chapel, we welcome you to visit us at the Historic Pine Valley Chapel. We are here to answer your questions and introduce you to our local church community. Stay updated on Church projects, events, and relief efforts happening around the world. Come and find peace and hope through Jesus Christ with us at the Historic Pine Valley Chapel.

"I've been wanting to visit here for over 20 years, and it was great. Just make sure you come when tours are available on Sundays or during the week between memorial day and labor day. I have pioneer roots in this area with Burgesses and Emmetts. The nearby cemetery is also a good visit with a lot of hand-carved pioneer headstones. Just be respectful and close the gate behind you."
"Great history of the valley shared by our guides. Chapel still in use and we had a great tour. Went all the way up."
"This is one of the longest used chapels in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. There is a branch that meets here on Sundays and is very welcoming. If you want a seat, you might need to go a little early because there are quite a few visitors. We sat up in the choir seats and had a great experience! There were also great bathrooms. There are also tours available if you want to learn more about the history and structure of the building."
"Beautiful chapel designed by good ol' Ebenezer Bryce. If you're in town, it's worth swinging by to see this piece of history."
"Is a nice trip I've been to Historic Pine Valley we visited the old church which is 150 years old they said it was built by person that was an Old Ship Builder and he used his talents as a ship Builder to build this Chapel the design is of a boat that was built upside down you can see by the rafters in the ceiling the trusses was built as though the boat was built upside down to make the ceiling part of the boat of the chapel and it has stood for a hundred and fifty years and is held up very well."
