Reviews
"I don't want to share to much and ruin any of the surprise but this place is worth the money. I knew no matter how long I stayed I'd feel like I was missing out on something. I enjoyed the main area more than the nurses quarters or anything else but it is all worth seeing. They are clearly working on new projects too. Always a reason to visit again"
"Flew in with a small plane. Beautiful runways and spectacular area to fly. FBO was super friendly, helpful and loaned me a crew car over-night."
"A great deal of WWII Airforce history here, particularly atomic bomb. Some great restored buildings and many more in various states of decay. See the museum buildings, but don't forget to climb the vintage air control tower, and drive through the vast area of mostly unrestored buildings."
"Wendover Airfield Museum & Airbase is an interesting walk into WWII history. The place where the Enola Gay B29 bomber trained for its mission. An interesting museum and great real airplanes. Including "Jailbird" one of the planes from the movie ConAir."
"Wonderful history of World War 2. They are in need of generous donations to restore this hidden treasure. Entry fee for adults was $8. Worth Every Penny! Tour included the full museum, inside a WWII aircraft, climbing of the control tower, driving tour of the compound, and an inside self guided tour of the nurse's quarters."
