"Dr Steve Lemmon is the best vet I have ever been to. He’s caring and compassionate. Treats you like family. Very knowledgeable. I made the mistake of taking my dog somewhere else first. That vet said my dog had a serious condition that would cost thousands. Took him to Dr Steve for a second opinion and it turned out it was only allergies. Been seeing him ever since."
"Dr, Lemmon and his staff are the best I have ever encountered. They listen before making assumptions about the diagnosis. I would definitely recommend!!!"
"Horrible experience with Dr Lemmon and his office staff. Lacking in compassion, integrity and competence. In January, I had made an appointment to have surgery for my bulldog. Surgery was scheduled in March and confirmed the night before. The dog was NPO, and a catheter was put in on the morning of the day surgery was scheduled I did not hear from the office all day. My daughter tried calling during the day to see how our bulldog was doing but the secretary was rude and dismissive to her She said he ( the vet) "will show up when he shows up" I called at 3:00 that day to see how our dog had done with surgery surgery and to check when we could bring her home. . Turns out the "orthopedic “specialist" arrived at 2:30 but “didn’t have tools he needed” and surgery would have to be scheduled “some other time”— next available surgery slot being out 6 weeks . Dr Lemmon was unapologetic and offered to sell us some “more pain meds” for her since she was obviously limping and in pain. I investigated the situation and called Dr Dale Smiths office and found out that Dr Smith was actually never scheduled to go to Ogden Animal Hospital on that day. His assistant Debbie said she is in charge of his schedule and it was an error on the part of Ogden Animal Hospital Ogden Animal Hospital had misrepresented the truth ( that my dog was never on the surgery schedule for the day) and then billed me for it. I contacted Ogden Animal hospital and asked for them to refund the pre operative charges for the operative prep and catheter. They ignored my phone calls and e-mails. Not even the courtesy of a response. Ogden Animal Hospital had also charged an additional 200 for an exam done by a different vet that I had never heard of I and X-rays .. My husband is a surgeon and looked at the X-rays and commented that soft tissue injury will not show up on x rays When I picked up my poor dog from her “surgery appointment” she was shaking, scared and stressed for having spent the day in a cage NPO for NOTHING I have email proof, billing statements and phone records verifying all statements made in this review"
"My cat was very ill, this team provided her with the best in care. They were compassionate, gentle and very responsive to her. She is 14 years of age, I was so worried about her. The surgery went well and she is healing wonderfully. They have my sincere gratitude. Well worth the price. Thank you to Michael Lemmon, and his team !! Sharon Jensen"
