SUU J. Reuben Clark, Jr. Center

The SUU J. Reuben Clark, Jr. Center, located at 300 West University Boulevard in Cedar City, Utah, is a historic building originally built in 1939 as an Institute of Religion. It has since been gifted to Southern Utah University and now houses the Community & Professional Development Office. Named after J. Reuben Clark, Jr., a former interim principal of the Branch Normal School and prominent leader of the LDS Church, the center offers a beautiful reception room with hardwood floors, a gas fireplace, and historic photos of SUU. The space is available for rental for various events, with catering services provided by SUU Dining Services. Reservations can be made by calling (435) 865-8221, and a non-refundable room deposit is required. The center is conveniently located on the northeast corner of 300 West and University Boulevard, with parking available on the east side of the building.
