"I have never felt more disrespected for trying to get an emergency pair of contacts than my visit at this store. Treating me like a moron that came only to steal from you is outrageous."
"I wanted to share my recent experience with the Moran Eye Center, which, up until this point, had been quite positive. However, a recent incident has left me feeling rather disappointed. About two months ago, I purchased a pair of glasses from them, which were, of course, covered by a warranty. Unfortunately, a screw fell out of the frame, which I believe is a fairly common issue that can occur with glasses. Expecting a straightforward repair, I returned to the Moran Eye Center, only to be informed that they could not locate a matching screw for the repair. To my surprise, they also offered no further assistance or advice on where I might find a replacement or how to proceed with fixing my glasses elsewhere. Given that this was a clear-cut warranty issue, it felt as if the Moran Eye Center had abandoned their post-sale responsibilities. There was no attempt to provide customer service beyond the initial purchase. It is my opinion that once they make the sale, your needs as a customer become a secondary concern. I would caution potential customers to consider this when choosing an optometry provider. The sale is just one part of the customer experience; the quality of aftercare is equally important and a true reflection of a business's commitment to its customers. Unfortunately, based on my experience, the Moran Eye Center seems to fall short in this aspect. I would recommend finding an optometrist who values customer service consistently, even after the glasses leave the store."
"Yesterday a temple/arm of my sunglasses broke off on my Silhouette styled Maui Jim sunglasses. I’ve had these sunglasses for 15 years and they are my favorites! So today I stopped by the Moran Eye center for the first time ever, as I researched and saw they carry Silhouette glasses (I had forgotten mine are actually Maui Jim’s). I walked in thinking I would just need to buy all new sunglasses (as I’ve known for a while that my sunglasses are no longer available) , so showed the staff my broken glasses thinking they would direct me to the closest looking sunglasses. The staff member (Sonny, I believe is his name), looked at my glasses and conferred with a colleague and then disappeared somewhere out of sight with my sunglasses. He came back a few minutes later, with a new temple attached; my sunglasses fixed!! I was so surprised and so shocked and so grateful!! Really made my day! Thank you so so much!!!"
"Just received my new prescription from Dr. Ryan. He was really friendly and full of information about eye health. Defiantly my new go to for prescriptions. Also I had a busted old pair of sunglasses. After the appointment they fixed them for free!!!! Thank you for being professional and going above and beyond for making my experience amazing. Defiantly recommend."
"Having skied the Park City area for 35 years, I chose this year to forget my contact lenses back east. I called my opthamologist and they suggested I find a local company where they might fax my prescription. Better than that, the people at Moran offered to call my Dr. and proceeded to discuss helping me with this predicament. I received a prompt call-back and was told to come by anytime before days end to pick-up the lenses they had prepared for me. When I arrived, there on the counter were two boxes of trial lenses with my name on them. I asked how much I owed them and was told, "their trial lenses, no charge." In this day and age to hear something like that is so surprising. What wonderful people with a strong sense of what customer service should be! I highly recommend you check out Moran Eye Center for any eye care needs."
