"I went to Morris Travel to plan a family cruise for me and 15 of my family. I know you can try to do it yourself on line. But there is so much to try and coordinate. Booking all the rooms close together, getting everyone on the same flights, getting baggage to the ship and then getting it home. I decided to try Morris Travel and was lucky enough to get Cindy to handle our trip. I am SO GLAD that I did. Everything was handled for us. Right down to our nightly dinner reservations on the ship. We didn't have to worry about anything. I will never book a cruise again without going thru Cindy first. Whether its 15 of us or just 2. I highly recommend using the Draper Morris travel and highly recommend using Cindy. Thank you for making our vacation perfect !"
"Do NOT use this agency. They do not care to help you. We have had nothing but issues with them and when trying to get resolution, their answer is that it`s not their fault and the customer is always wrong. Among the many different issues I`ve had, my favorite parts are their VP telling me that how I feel is "wrong", it is not uncommon for them to have to wait 8+ hours to speak to someone at Royal Caribbean (then why would you ever recommend that line), and my ultimate favorite that I need to contact the cruise line to get my issue resolved even though I already told them that the cruise line wont talk to me because I "have" a travel agent (so basically, I get to call Royal Caribbean so that they can tell me to have my travel agent call who will then tell me to contact them myself so that I can go through this cycle endlessly. To top it all off, this agent booked a horrible room location for my in-laws (an obstructed balcony room basically as far away as possible from the elevators/stairs which was a huge problem as my mother-in-law has had her knees replaced and has a hard time walking, booked them on a post cruise tour where they had to eat lunchables since there was no food available. There are countless choices available to you, don`t make the same mistake my family did!"
"I just had Susan Hatch do a trip to Mexico. It was awful! She only got 3 rooms instead of 4 and charged us for upgraded seats on our flight and we didn’t get them. I will never use her or Morris Murdock again!"
"I have spent a large fortune (tens of thousands of dollars) with this company over the last few years. Typically the problems were minor inconveniences. However, this past trip was the stuff from nightmares. Their "Paris expert" arranged everything for us. Upon arrival, our vouchers didn't work, they double booked hotel rooms and left me stranded another night (which required me to make international phone calls to them and incur international phone charges) all while worrying about the safe in my room (which could be carried away) holding our documents, passports, and credit cards. Hours later, we were able to get in the room. In addition, my computer was in my room which had critical information! Responses from Morris Murdock representatives to the distressing events (such as not having a hotel room, access to vital documents, vouchers not working) were these: "my laptop is dying" to which my response - "plug it in." Another excuse: "I only have one contact (lens)" and yet another "I needed a (spiritual) blessing from my brother" , "I only work limited hours," "I'll try in a little bit but no guarantees" and one of the most unbelievable: "it's hard to get answers on the weekend." Nevermind that we were a world away - nevermind that we had trusted these individuals with our time, our money, and our safety, nevermind that our precious time was wasted and that we incurred extra charges to purchase vouchers that were not correctly done (even though I repeatedly asked the rep to check to be sure they did). Forget the fact that the hotel they "hooked" us with and that we requested is NOT the one we were booked into. Disregard all that fear, stress, and emotional turmoil - ignore all those elements and what you have is a cultural climate of acceptance of poor performance and refusal of accountability. I have attached copies of the emails because some things really do have to be seen to be believed. In response to all the problems, the VP, Brent Jenson, said he had to "work it out" with Delta reps - as he's on the board of directors... He also said he wanted to "make me whole" and while some things have been refunded like the phone charges, money for a tour we cancelled, and the double tickets we had to pay (but he didn't account for the exchange rate as he agreed), we still feel that he has not done right by us. He offered $250 pp Delta air credit - as if I will use them or Morris Murdock ever again! No sir, the least you can do is pay us that back in cash so we can find an organization that doesn't accept subpar, neglectful, and horrific customer service! It's sad that you have to record conversations and document EVERYTHING when dealing with these people!"
