Reviews of ANEW Clinical Practitioners
"They stole $600 from me. They advertised accepting my insurance, then when my insurance wouldn't pay for it, they took $600 from my debit card. When I asked for my money back, they claimed they fired the party that did this, but they never gave me my money back. Do not use this company if your life depends on it."
"Getting a refill is impossible. I have been out of my medication for a week. My pharmacy has left over 5 messages with no responses. I followed their procedure and left a message on the refill line. No response. I left multiple messages on their main line with no response. I reached out to the MA and finally heard from someone at ANEW saying they would submit a request to get it refilled, but I STILL have no refill at my pharmacy. Even my pharmacy is suggesting I take my care elsewhere and commented on how unprofessional this office is."
"I thought for once I might have found hope in recovering, but no. Once again I was not only let down but blind sided by the clinic discharging me. I received a letter stating that I would no longer be a patient do to me needing “high level of care!”.....um that’s the reason I was recommended to this clinic because they specialize or suppose to help patients like me with severe mental health problems. When I met with the counselor for the first time I thought to myself “ wow I found someone who is actually going to listen for once?”... ya no. Then I met with the medication management specialist and she instantly wanted to taper me off the majority of my medication that were helping me. After 2 weeks of being put on lower dosages and different medication I started going down hill quick. I was back to my anger lash outs, suicidal thoughts, my anxiety was so bad I was shaking. I was supposed to meet with this specialist again but decided which is my right as a patient to no longer see this specialist, and went back to my original medication specialist who put me back on my original medication and I’m feeling like myself again. I called the clinic because I wanted more explanation on why I was no longer allowed to be seen. Come to find out that the counselor was the one who made the decision all because I wasn’t doing some of the things she asked me to do like for ex: give myself a butterfly hug, or count 10 similar things to distract me or something about using my 5 senses...I’m sorry but That to me is childish and that is my personal opinion. I did however do somethings like meditation, taking a bath and reading because that is what I find helpful oh and yoga. So for them to say I wasn’t giving them a chance is BS! Not to mention when talking to a higher up regarding this letter they blamed me, all because I didn’t feel that some of the skills/ technics were not something I thought would benefit me. I’m not saying it won’t help others but I know myself. I now feel even worse and more invisible not to mention discriminated against which happens to me quite often."
"I have been seeing Tamara Broadhead for years. She truly listens and cares, and uses her experience and skills to find tailered solutions. Her knowledge of mental health has proved way better than any general practitioner I have been to. She is also very easy to communicate with via the online portal. I have sent multiple people to see her, and they all get positive results as well. I cannot recommend her highly enough! If you are looking for someone that specializes in mental health but can also be your primary physician, look no further!"
