"This review isn't about the care I received but the KAREN who answered the phone. Was very rude and lazy and told me their clinic didn't treat the issues I have which are obviously urology issues. I called in with a referral from my GP but the KAREN stated the GP would have to send in my chart and they would have to review it before even seeing me. As I'm typing this review I'm in a different urologist office being seen for the issues I called in with to KAREN. So how does that work? Basically KAREN was to lazy to get on her computer and schedule me also every aspect of the conversation was combative on her part. I called in on Friday at 4:30 so I can understand if she didn't want to help but it's her JOB! WHOEVER MANAGES THE OFFICE NEEDS TO ACTUALLY MANAGE EMPLOYEES AND MAKE THEM WORK. I feel greatly mistreated and feel like the KAREN Who answered the phone has no empathy or work ethic. The issues I called in with are only treated by a urologist but she said they don't handle it at their clinic was a blatant lie. LEARN empathy and how to do your job KAREN!"

"I have had kidney stones off and on over several years. Ugh. The worst. Dr. Michael Mangelson was recommended to me as a doctor that would help me diagnose my type of stones and help me come up with a plan to reduce and mitigate future stones. Dr. Mangelson has been amazing. He has a friendly personality, is very knowledgeable, and very encouraging. He helped me understand the nature of stone formation, the types I form, and gave me actionable plans to help me reduce/mitigate future stones! A true gentleman and a scholar. I will be recommending Dr. Michael Mangelson to my friends and family."

"I have generally found that Intermountain Healthcare and the Salt Lake Clinic have exceptional doctors who are caring and listen. And then you have Doctor Mangelson. I saw him only one time and it will be the last. Doctor Mangelson is callous and rude. On my only visit, he quickly assessed me and then asked valid personal questions. I answered them truthfully. Doctor Mangelson stated to me, "I do not believe you." I shut down at that moment, meaning I stopped listening to him. Doctor Mangelson denigrated my personal lifestyle choices and offered little solution if I kept my lifestyle choices. He did not want to engage in dialogue. I was another patient on his to do list. I felt judged and harassed. I do not recommend him as an urologist."
