"The therapists are the best in Utah. We have had such a positive experience here, from screening to therapy to truly finding a welcoming, nonjudgmental community. As far as costs go, this office is so helpful and caring—-having to pay for a screening out of pocket is standard, it’s not the office at blame it’s how healthcare in America is ran (call your politicians!) I’ve found that the office staff bend over backwards to make accommodations for payments. They’re wonderful. ❤️"
"This was based on my phone call communication with them only. When I initially called, I spoke with a helpful woman and was told that if we don't have insurance, it is around $1,000 to go to their autism testing clinic, and at the time there was a 2 to 3 month wait for it. After giving her my ins, which is Bxbs, I was told there might be some coverage and they would look into it to give me a quote on what an autism assessment with Dr. Holmes would cost. It could take 6 to 8 weeks. I was also told I would need a referral from my son's pediatrician stating which tests I wanted done with office notes. So I had the doctor's office fax it immediately, stating I wanted him tested for autism, ADHD, OCD and anxiety. This was done around February 1st. I called 2 weeks later to check the status of where they were, and the gal I talked to said to wait a little longer since insurance hadn't responded yet. After that phone call, I was smart enuf to look into other providers that could evaluate my son because I wanted a back-up plan. Good thing, because I never heard back from these people. I was not impressed with their communication, and they don't follow up with potential patients. I found a great psychologist named Greg Miles in American Fork who diagnosed my kid. Worth the drive and I waited 2 weeks to get in."
"I called to get information to have my 4 year old screened for Autism. The first thing I was asked was what insurance we had. I told her and was told they only use 2 insurances for the screening and it was a $1000.00 for just the screening. That is highway robbery and despicable. Most people dont have that kind of money laying around for just a screening. These people should be ashamed of themselves."
"(June 2016) Getting a diagnosis saved my life. Worth the six months I had to wait."
"After waiting for MONTHS for my son's appointment, and I live out of town, I was caught in the WORST traffic in Draper and it caused me to know I was going to be late. I called half an hour before the time of his appointment to let them know that due to circumstances BEYOND my control, I was goung to be half an hour late. They told me "Too bad, you have to reschedule!" Bull. I was NOT at fault, it was beyond our control so now I can't reschedule or get off work and my son is out of luck. You guys could have bended a little here...I did everything I physically could!!!"
