"When my husband and I went in for one of my early appointments, the doctor requested that I get genetic testing done for the baby. We didn't understand the need for this, so we declined, but he insisted that we do so. One of our hesitations for going through with testing was the cost, but the doctor quickly said that it shouldn't be a problem, because even if insurance doesn't cover it, it should be $60 at most. We felt relieved, but pressed two more times, and with confidence, the doctor made the same statement and said that if it were to cost a lost, the clinic would check the cost for us. We decided to go forward with testing, and as you can imagine, were infuriated when we got a bill in the mail, just for the genetic testing for $645.19 (this is with insurance coverage)! I wish we had recorded the conversation with the doctor. Yes, we should have double checked ourselves on the cost, but the doctor should not have made that promise. We are still so upset at the doctor and the overall unprofessionalism/incompetence of this clinic- this is just one instance. Thankfully, when the new year rolled around we switched to Dr. Wayne Young at IHC and we could not be happier with the decision."

"Have never met so many incompetent professionals in my entire life. One of the doctors that did my C-section managed to give a huge and crooked scar, didn’t even remember doing my surgery and when I pointed out about the scar he told me to either have another C-section or have a plastic surgery (obviously he wouldn’t pay for it). I wish it was a joke but it isn’t. If you don’t want to have a headache, go somewhere else."

"If I could give a zero I would. I had an emergency appendix removal and during that time they suggested I follow up with an OBGYN Valley Women’s Health was on the release form and covered by my insurance. I went to the appointment and had the nurse practitioner just laugh at me telling me nothing was wrong. I pushed to get better care with them but just did feel right about the approach. I got a second opinion and was treated with respect and the follow up tests were done quickly they even squeezed me into an already booked day. After an ultrasound was done it was sent to Valley Women’s health who called me back along time after the test to schedule me for surgery based on what they saw in the ultrasound. No thank you I already have it take care of by another provider. Save yourself time and go to some other facility this one is bad!!"

"First off- I must say that I was warned about Valley OB once people found out I was pregnant and going there. So it’s my fault for moving forward with them. The first 20 weeks of my pregnancy I had no complains with valley OB, but the second half things took a turn pretty fast. You could always tell the doctor was checking their watches during your appointments like they were in a huge hurry. They didn’t take any of my concerns seriously, which led to a late diagnosis of cholestasis (which is MISERABLE). The doctors were never on the same page, which one of the nurses finally leveled with me and told me that there were mistakes in my chart that led to a lot of confusion and so many mistakes were made. I had to get really bold and eventually bring my husband for them to take me seriously and get the appropriate tests done and induction scheduled. At my 6 week postpartum appointment, I expressed I was still struggling with things regarding healing and they were blown off and disregarded. No explanations were given and I left more confused that I went in. So now I am 12 weeks postpartum still struggling with healing and have called and left many messages trying to get a referral for a pelvic floor specialist, and no one will call me back. They always transfer me and I just leave messages. I finally had to go see a different doctor for the referral, which was incredibly quick and painless with the new office. At Valley OB they dont care about you personally, you’re just a number and the care really reflected this. If I could give them less than 1 star I would."

"After delivering 3 babies…all the bad reviews about the office staff are 1000% true. I can’t even count the amount of times they booked me for the wrong location and the hours of time I’ve lost because of it I will say their doctors are great. My mother-in-law is a labor and delivery nurse, and out of all of the OB’s she likes this group the best."
