Reviews of Ogden Clinic | Mountain View
"Don't trust the online wait time - I checked in online, it said about 2 hrs wait, didn't seem right to me, so I drove in after 30 mins (there is also no tracker showing how much time you have left), empty parking lot. Got to the front desk, they told me the online tracker is useless and when you check in physically you still have to wait all that time... She said it should be 30-45 mins. Got in the Dr. Office within 20 mins."
"I have had multiple horrible experiences with this clinic. They are cold, indifferent, and rude. I had set up an appointment, which I miss understood was for today. I set it up for a couple of things but one of which was to get a refill for a very common prescription. When I was in line I watched as one of the receptionist scolded a patient for approaching her to soon, which I understand the annoyance of this as I have worked in positions where I constantly had to deal with the same thing. But to do not scold your customer. As I waited the same receptionist invited me up. It turned out that I had misunderstood when my appointment was and this receptionist wanted to make sure I understood that and belabored that point multiple times by asking things like did you get a reminder text message or phone call. She spoke to me like I was not able to comprehend that the appointment was not for today but was for the following week. I explained that I understood that I made a mistake and asked for her help as I can not stop taking the medication without it having some very detrimental effects. Her response was no. I told her that was not something that I could accept and needed to come up with a solution. She told me no again. I asked if there was someone who would be able to help me find a solution and she said I am the receptionist manager to which I was shocked due to her rude and unhelpful attitude. I asked if there was someone else that could help me. She eventually spoke to the buildings administrator, I think, and came back with a solution. At this point I explained to her that I wanted to speak to the administrator like I had asked. I had the opportunity to speak with Morgan and we were able to get me 3 pills of my prescription and an appointment for Monday to hold me over until I could get in on Monday to meet with my doctor. Why did this receptionist make it so hard? Why is she so unwilling to help her customers? She should not be in a position to speak with the customers and should not be a manager over others who serve the customers. This is not the 1st time I have had issues with Ogden clinic. I brought my 4 year old an hour before they closed because he needed stitches on his fore head. They locked the doors at 7 pm in spite of closing at 8 pm because they did not want to stay. Meanwhile I am at there door while they are open with a 4 year old bleeding from his head crying and the staff is sneaking out the side door. I saw them and asked for help and it was womp womp to bad we are open until 8 pm but will not take patients after 7 pm. Sucks to be you. What is wrong with the staff here? I pay every paycheck to my insurance and have a contract to be seen during operating hours. This is horribly wrong and meanwhile my son is bleeding. The also told me just go to the ER. ya because the ER is for stitches. Why should I go to the ER when you are open? Why should I spend x3 the amount at the ER and waste the ERs time on something that is not a true emergency. DO BETTER OGDEN CLINIC."
"This place is terrible. I had an appointment for my son to get medication refilled. No issues so far. When the pharmacy stated that they didn’t have the medication, I called the clinic to have them divert the prescription elsewhere. They said it would take 24-48 for them to get the message to the doctor, but I could schedule another appointment that following morning; 12 hours later. This is insurance fraud!!!!"
"I made a review for Dr. Eggleston, it was very positive and I stand by that. However the staff that answers the phones and the nurse I have had the displeasure of working with is another story. I had to beg for 3 days to get a note saying I can work. Communication within the staff is horrible, no one can keep a story straight and no one was willing to ask the doctor a simple question to write a note that my job requires me to have. I lost almost 4 days because of this nonsense. If you need things for work I recommend going somewhere else because you will be waiting a while. The nurse had a really bad attitude and was refusing to give me a note at all on the day of my visit until I informed her that I would get into trouble without said note. She rolled her eyes at me and finally consented to write me an excuse note. Which was great but not what I asked for. Loved working with the doctor but am very put off by the nurse and staff."
"Mixed Experiences Over Years: A Review of Ogden Clinic Mountain View Location Our family has frequented Ogden Clinic's Mountain View location for the last three years, appreciating its ample parking and prompt service. The facility always presents a clean and organized facade, which is reassuring. However, our journey has been speckled with concerns and less-than-pleasant experiences. A recurring issue is the misdirection of our prescriptions to the wrong pharmacy, causing unnecessary hassles. The bigger concern lies in the bedside manner of the staff, particularly the doctors. Except for one amiable doctor, the rest, especially the female doctors, display a lack of warmth and empathy. Their demeanor often feels cold and disconnected, which is distressing when seeking medical care. Moreover, the clinic's vocal promotion of a specific political agenda, seemingly favoring one gender over another, has made us uncomfortable, especially with their promotion of the trans agenda. It raises concerns to a level where I feel uneasy leaving my children alone with the doctors, fearing unintended influences or discussions. An incident that particularly stands out was when I had an adverse reaction to a tarantula hawk sting. After taking my payment and checking me in, they later informed me in the waiting room that they couldn’t attend to me and advised me to visit the emergency room. This, after having already charged me, felt unprofessional and disheartening. On a lighter note, a small joy comes from the toy dispenser machine that houses tiny trinket toys. It's a sweet gesture that my kids look forward to, making their visit to the clinic a little more enjoyable despite the aforementioned issues. In summary, while the Ogden Clinic Mountain View location scores on cleanliness, promptness, and some child-friendly features, the lack of warmth, empathy, and some operational missteps considerably dampen the overall experience. It's a place of mixed feelings where the scales of professional courtesy and personal connection need serious rebalancing."
