Get involved and support our cause either in person or remotely.
We are here to assist you in navigating community resources and mental health services. As a partner agency of the Tulsa Area United Way and the United Way of Central Oklahoma, and an affiliate of Mental Health America, we are dedicated to providing information and resources to those in need.
If you are in crisis, the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline offers 24/7 call, text, and chat support from trained crisis counselors. Don't hesitate to reach out if you are experiencing suicidal thoughts, substance use issues, mental health crises, or emotional distress. Reviews of Mental Health Association Oklahoma
"So the case managers and directors leave between 2:30 and 3:00 but the time listed is open 8:00 to 5pm but other than that it’s average mostly"
"Do not work at this office! I worked here for three weeks and was absent for 5 days due to health issues that have resulted in me needing to see a specialist due to chronic pain. I was told during orientation that sick days are excused if a doctors note was provided - I did that. Beyond that, I understood how my absences may have looked so early into my employment so I made an conscious effort to reach out to my supervisor and address that, as well as express my continued gratitude and commitment to the job/organization. A week later I was fired because I was absent too often and because I was late too often. I was late once, while my coworker would joke WITH my supervisor about how she was late every. single. day. My other absence was because the roads by my home were iced over so much so that I watched my neighbor slide down them. My coworkers made throw up sounds when they saw fat people running and the word "tr*nsv*st*t* was used in reference to client. Then, when I went to file for unemployment, they fought my claim KNOWING that I was late on my rent due to not receiving the salaried pay that my contract stated I'd get (I had conversations with both the HR manager AND my supervisor about rent). This is not a place where I felt comfortable or welcome at any point in the hiring process. They claim to care for the unhoused community, yet when their employees are at risk of homelessness they don't lift a finger."
"Liars. Horrible people. Twice I tried to attend support sessions listed on their website, only to find the doors locked, nobody there. They lie about what they offer. When you seek them out, you'll find the door locked, everyone has gone home. They are liars, and horrible people. You can't count on them, don't even try."
"Everyone had always been so friendly to me."
"There helpful place."
