"Hello friends, I went to this school a week ago and I took a placement test and the employee told me that the start of the semester would be next Monday. After that, an employee named Kevin contacted me and told me that I must pay before Thursday, otherwise my admission will be canceled and I told him that I am very far from school. I cannot come because I was looking for housing and it was very far from the school. His behavior towards me was very bad and he did not respect me. When I came to school, he met me with a frowning face and his voice was very loud. He did not respect the new students. I told him that I wanted to transfer to another school and he told me that we had a problem. I hope you will hurry. In the procedures, when I went to the new school and got accepted, and I had to transfer the seat, he told me that the admission was canceled and I had to leave the states or I would be imprisoned. What crazy talk! He is a very racist and bad person. I want to tell this story to anyone who wants to come to this school, to be very prepared for the racism and bad words they face from these people. How much I hate you, Kevin."
"I would not recommend Nomenglobal to other people. I am dissapointed to the school. General comments: - The english level is not high. The activities are not difficult, and for level 3, it was not a good level. - There are many native English speakers but they are not teachers. Teacher is a person that studied in the university to teach other people with pedagogy, technics and skills to teach others. Grammar class, is the most important class and the teacher is a good person, but she is not a teacher. She has many pedagogical deficiencies. - I assited for 3 months in person classes. Many times, I was alone in the room because there are many people registered in classes, but most of them are registered in classes only for VISA student beneficts. This is a big problem, when I wanted to practice my english with other people it was very difficult because I only practiced with my teacher. I took for 1 month online classes. Some teachers included me in the activities, they took my speaking exams and they were kind but other teachers, specific in grammar and PEW writting classes not included me in the activities. Many days I had to talk with my classmates to Imessage to remembered to my teachers that they needed to open zoom room and include me. There were many activities where I could not participated because the teacher did not give me and assignment or forgot me. Grammar class - This class is the most important clas. You need to have a teacher in there. Many times the teacher could not answer my grammar questions because she did not the correct grammar answer. It is not correct say: "You need to use common sense to choose the answer" I need a GRAMMAR ANSWER: "the correct answer is this because,... " - When we had free time after review the lesson she prefered listened music or do other things. In this block we did not review 3 lesson that were included in the exam. - She is a good person, but she is not a good teacher and I repeat again, THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT CLASS. I want to exclude in this comment Mis Anette and Fatu because they always included me in the activities, teach me very well and their comments were appropiated to teach English."
"Great Program put in place. I came in the US as their International student. The program is above the simple exposure of the English language. It has also helped me understand and adjust to the new american culture."
"I have loved teaching at this organization. The staff are friendly, the students are held to high standards, and the facilities are great. I love getting to use the gym, and getting to have fun with my students in the break rooms. Nomen Global connects people across cultures and teaches English in a revolutionary way."
"I have taught at Nomen Global since 1999. Before that, I taught at 4 different schools since 1990. I can say the program at NG is superior to many other ESL schools, without question. The curriculum was carefully planned to promote the best learning styles. The classes are all consistent and fair because teachers are all using the same materials and tests. The teachers and the staff here genuinely love and care about the students and their educational progress. Please check out Nomen Global."
