"I hate this place! 6th grade left me in the dark for the hardest year of my life . . . 7th grade!! I never feel safe here, especially after the school shooting threat. Almost all the kids swear in every sentence, and most of those kids do illegal substances. Substances like alcohol, vape, weed, and prescription drugs! Also a lot of the kids here have lost their virginity, which makes me very uncomfortable. The teachers are alright, not worth being hated on. The substitutes on the other hand are abusive, physically, and mentally. They also swear and make you feel like trash. The food sucks. But they do have a good soda called Switch. Overall this school has changed my life for the worst."
"I have mixed emotions about this school, my daughter does great here. But she is very self-motivated and good at ignoring bullies. My son was miserable here. He was bullied and even beat up by a kid in the gym locker room. It felt like the Principal and vice Principals were more worried about how they were treated than actually helping the kids. My son had some behavior issues due to the bullying and lack of support from the staff, but the staff did not follow thru on the discipline measures we put in place. If your child is not extremely self motivated this is not the school for them."
"From, moldy food to confidence killing teachers I haven't enjoyed this place from the start, the teachers tell you he rules very day as if you were to forget them as much as they remind you. The teachers take weeks to update/grade things, for example: I turned in a late assignment and THREE WEEKS later it still was not graded. Since they have induced the sixth grade this place has become a daycare rather than a middle school. The new principal pretty laid back but in some ways that's a bad thing, he has made many mistakes that has tempered with the school and its staff. Speaking of staff, I've been told by a teacher that she would have an easier time training a dog and that I was a slob (even though I was a straight A student) and in lunch we have to be dismissed by table, because this school is a bloody daycare, not a middle school, go to Jordan, or crescent view, or maybe corner canyon, just not here, thanks -P.R"
"food isn't worth the wait especially if your late for lunch, hallways to crowded and barely anytime to do anything between classes. if you have a class the next period all the way across the school good luck getting there on time when you stop for a drink or bathroom. vending machines work half the time and don't refund"
"Although, my 6th grader had one wonderful teacher, and the program for children who need additional help in math seems to work well, I would not recommend it. I witnessed an employee speak harshly and accusingly to a special needs child, wandering the hall. I wouldn't want anyone speaking with such disregard and disdain to my child. Since this was done while I was walking the hall with the employee, I wonder what is done when parents are not around. With the exception of the above mentioned teacher, the teaching staff was adequate at best. They seemed to be completely unmotivated and my children hated the time spent there."
