"I'm honestly shocked at the poor reviews posted of APA. My daughter has gone there from 1st-5th grade and it has proven to be an incredible school laser focused on academic achievement for all learning types. They take reading, math, science, & history seriously. This is not pretend learning. There is a reason why the school is dominated by cultures (Indian, Chinese, Middle Eastern) that put a premium on quality education. They are there to learn and excel. Yes, my daughter has more homework than her local public school neighbors but the education she is receiving is incomparable. She is gaining the skills to knock the SAT & ACT out of the park and get into ANY college she desires. This school puts a premium on teaching traditional American values and honors our country and its founding, the flag, and it's veterans. When I've had problems with anything, the staff has been responsive and helpful. The teachers I've interacted with are kind & respectful to the children. Finally, the kids are genuinely nice & respectful!"

"My kids used to go to that school for the last 5 years. i recently changed my kids school since APA have new school teachers staff. They dont pay attention to the kids no special program or help for the kids if you dont do your homework which is more than a normal school they wont let you go into new class you repeat the same class for another year. New teacher staff is not helpful at all they just want your kids to do everything. No Help APA used to be an awesome school but sadly people are moving out there kids due to a load of HW and New School teachers. Before sending your kids make sure they are going to have a lot of homework with no HELP."

"Absolutely amazing school focused on knowledge, individualism, academics, discipline. Love their material learned. Kids excelling in knowledge. We love the school, the environment, and the staff. Each classroom has an amazing teacher and an instructor. They are very able to handle classroom of 25 plus. We love this school, so happy we found it!!!"

"It's a great school but the homework is overwhelming. It seems that the teachers could teach more and back up some on the volume of homework. The facilities are great, the uniform could give most choices."

"I spent a lot of years trying to find a good fit for my smart-and-bored-in-class kids and finally found APA. I love that the school promotes a culture where learning is 'cool.' The small group subject classes help the students move through the curriculum at a customized pace, and having a full-time teacher AND instructor in every classroom means teachers aren't burned out babysitters. The integral character development program (they call it the Builders and the Ambassador program) helps the students develop life skills and promotes an atmosphere of exemplary behavior. And while children are not generally fans of uniforms, as a parent I can see how they greatly decrease the cliques and the comparing that can sometimes plague schools. No school is perfect, but this one comes pretty close. We wouldn't trade the past 6 years."
