"Forced potty breaks by shutting off the water periodically…my favorite detail! Cute lil waterfall and small slash pad boasting some nice boulders too shove lil kids off of. Wish this had more interactive elements and biodiversity."
"Even though the splash pad is small it is probably my favorite one. I love that it's enclosed by a fence. It's not attached to a playground, so you know exactly where your kids are going to be. My kids love playing in the river and my baby loves playing in the little circle splash part. Perfect place to cool off. There is some shade there if you want to sit a little away from the splash pad in the trees. There's plenty of seats close enough to see your kids play without having to get wet yourself."
"This is a really nice splash pad. There is ample shade spread out, grassy areas are big, and the splash pad keeps kids busy. The stream is wide and just deep enough in some spots to lay down but not be totally submerged. And there are lots of rocks to climb on. The area is fenced off too, so it's easier to keep an eye on kids. It wasn't overly busy when we went on a Saturday morning. It was an enjoyable time. Definitely bring sunscreen, towels, maybe a chair, drinks, etc. so you can hang for a while."
"The pumpkin walk was super fun. It is a free event that I hope will happen every year. This was the first year we went and despite the freezing temperatures we he had a great time."
"Fun water pad with a little play stream. It doesn't open until 10 am. It seems like a Mecca for local families. So many children! There are sort of lifeguards monitoring the area with opinions but they didn't bother us. The water turns off every hour for a potty break... I'm not sure how effective that was. I just heard moms say "Play in it now without the water." It was free and fun. Good for an hour of fun if you are in the area. But do bring a swimsuit and sun block as there is limited shade. People actually brought beach umbrellas. BTW the library is across the street if you want to go there first."
