Reviews of Marshalls
"Great store. Prices are reasonable. Lots of bargains"
"I used to work at this location and these are some things that since i quit i have loved and hated about Marshalls. Love: -Amazing items for cheap price -Lots of inventory that’s up to date -You can almost always go in here and find things that you need -The store for the most part is very organized -Employees are always working and on task doing something Hate: -How unhappy the employees look here, they’re never in a good mood or very talkative and friendly like how they used to be. -Shorthanded all the time but then never trying to get new employees (I worked here about 2 years ago and since have reapplied last year when they were hiring and during the holiday season which is the busiest time of the year and i never heard anything back) but then whenever i shop here they never have enough cashiers or people stocking the store. -Long lines and wait times at checkout there’s usually one cashier up there that’s trying to tackle a line of five families with carts full. (I’ve worked here and in my opinion there should always be two cashiers up front especially during the weekends it gets so busy) -Overcrowded with inventory sometimes with no employee stocking shelves, this means that the inventory goes in between aisles which means you have to move it yourself or you can’t shop that aisle since it’s crowded (however i do understand that if they’re not selling enough and can’t put a stop on when their inventory comes in how this is an issue) -Employees always pushing for you to get a credit card and bugging you during checkout (this was also something i was uncomfortable with when i worked here, especially since a lot of the workers here are high schoolers and have no idea what a credit card or building a credit score is like, in my opinion if the employee is under the age of 18 and uneducated on credit they shouldn’t be trying to sell customers a credit card) I’ve loved things about Marshalls but have also hated things. I feel like since i’ve worked here it’s gone very downhill and they don’t seem to have it together that great. It’s hit or miss when i go in here sometimes i find great things the store is organized and i have a friendly employee at checkout. Other times i’ve gone in here the store is madness, there’s a long line with only one cashier, and the employees are not friendly at all and seem so unhappy to be there. It’s genuinely disappointing i used to love it here especially when i worked here but now i’m not overly impressed anytime i come here."
"Um get ready to go treasure hunting. You like Ross? Then you'll never want to leave. This place is the mecca of good deals. Here in Farmington"
"Nice, big store with lots of discounted items inside. Anything you could need is probably available."
"Marshalls is my goto place to pick-up swanky ties at good price. They have a lot of major brands at minor prices. Occasionally I will give a tie away right off my neck when someone expresses there delight on how stylish it is. I'm okay with sharing knowing I have a secret stash of fresh tie swankieness waiting back at Marshalls. Marshalls also has a rich stash of colognes at bargain prices. They don't always have my brand, but when they do, I stock up! Marshalls has a lot of weird stuff in the back. The kind of stuff you didn't know you needed until you see it... Like a sassy metal mermaid statue for $8 bucks... Sold! :)"
