"Gorgeous *enclosed* carousel with beautiful artwork! Our family of 6 loved it. There are working belts on the horses to keep little ones secure. They even have labels on the horses that are stationary. Hogle Zoo charges extra for their carousel unless you get the most expensive membership option! I think $3 is more than fair. Thanksgiving Point Membership includes so many features as it is. Maybe they can offer a membership upgrade for all carousel rides included in the future!"
"The Thanksgiving Point Carousel is a delightful spectacle that evokes childlike wonder and joy. The hand-painted horses adorned with intricate details are a feast for the eyes, and the lively music creates a festive atmosphere that is sure to bring a smile to anyone's face. As the carousel spins, you can't help but be transported to a world of enchantment, where dreams come to life. I found myself buying one ticket after another, eager to experience the magic of the carousel again and again. If you're looking for a way to escape the stresses of everyday life, the Thanksgiving Point Carousel is the perfect place to do it."
"My 6 year old loved it! Each horse has its own name and story and they will do tours and name each one for you. They have a kiosk to buy tickets. My negative opinion: It is a little expensive at $5 a ride, but if you buy 5 rides, they're only $3 each. There's only one person running it, so if it's busy it might take a few minutes before the ride starts. The horses are beautiful and the music is fun. It's indoors and there are some seats around to sit and watch. We'll definitely go back again as my daughter had such a great time."
"This carousel is a beautiful work of art! Most of the horses are a Bradley & Kay design, one of the most prolific carousel makers in the US. Each horse features original hand-drawn art! We loved looking at all the unique paintings! They played Mary Poppins music which was perfect for the ride. The attendants were courteous and even took a picture of our small group. Pricing is $3 for members, $5 for nonmembers, or $15 for 5 rides (anyone). I know some think rides should be part of the membership but I'm fine with paying for a ride for my family and they have a convenient kiosk to get tickets. I think it is brilliant that it is setup in an indoor enclosure so it can be ridden year-round and protect it long term."
"Not worth it. Really disappointed. We get a membership to Thanksgiving point every year for the past 5 years and we were excited for them to add a new attraction, but then super disappointed when we found out it was not free to members. Our kids have been begging to ride it so we paid the $3 each (for members, $5 for non members) and have it a try. The carousel only goes for TWO MINUTES. So lame. Two suggestions. 1. Give members 20 free rides per year and then they can pay after that OR lower the price to $1 for everyone. 2. Have the carousel go around for longer. The ride is way too short at 2 minutes."
