About the Wardle Fields Regional Park
Wardle Fields Regional Park, located at 14148 South 2700 West in Bluffdale, Utah, is a beautiful park with a rich history. Originally an 80-acre farm owned by the Wardle family, the land was used to grow alfalfa, barley, and sugar beets for nearly fifty years. After Charles Wardle passed away in the 1950s, the family sold the land to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, which was later acquired by Salt Lake County in 2008.
One of the highlights of Wardle Fields Regional Park is the splash pad, where visitors can enjoy filtered water that is later used to water the surrounding park. In times of drought, the culinary system is used to conserve water. This sustainable approach to water usage is just one of the many ways that Wardle Fields Regional Park strives to be environmentally conscious. Visit Wardle Fields Regional Park to enjoy the beauty of nature and learn about its fascinating history.

Reviews of Wardle Fields Regional Park
"Majestic Views, a Splash pad (during Summer months), kids playground, basketball courts, 16 Pickleball courts. What else could you wish for in a park! I just wish owners would leash their dogs, especially if they chase runners and cyclists"
"One of the best parks with water splash pads. I was surprised to see how nice this park is compared to parks in south Jordan or Riverton. Our kids loved playing in it. The park has a water conservation system saving water and also uses culinary water which is safe for kids while they get wet. Playground has lot of options , again more than what we have usually seen in other parks."
"This park is EPIC! There is seriously so so so many things to do. So the park contains a HUGE splash pad, a 3 story slide, 2 playgrounds (1 for smaller children and 1 for bigger kids), a sand play area, zip lines, a MEGA basketball court, a large Pavillion, and large bathrooms! There is also one of the largest Pickleball complexes in the state. They have 16 outdoor courts. But BEWARE, they are usually pretty full. In addition, there is multiple acres of grass fields to play or practice on. Tonight they had football, track, ultimate frisbee, and soccer teams all practicing on different parts and none were even close to each other. This park is Epic. Come play here some time, it's worth the drive!"
"This park is a great choice! I was surprised at how nice it was. It was spacious, and people weren't on top of each other. The splash pad had lots of fountains and a big waterfall in the center. There was a tall tower with an enclosed staircase for kids to climb safely, which led up to three fun tube slides. There was also a zip line for kids to glide across. The big grass areas were nice, and shade areas were a little scarce because the trees were still young. We had a great time and will definitely be returning to that spot."
"I really liked this park, it has good access, the water park has a waterfall and rocks to climb. Along the edge of the water park there are several shaded areas to be with a blanket on the grass, or it has a couple of pavilions that are shaded for much of the day, but when the sun begins to go down, the sun hits them directly. It has a large playground with slides, zip lines, and games in general. The only detail is that if you are on the side of the water park, you have zero visibility of that area, so you are either on one side or the other. otherwise you cannot watch your children. It has areas to walk and enjoy the tranquility, even on Wednesdays you can listen to the rehearsal of a Polynesian dance group after 7 pm."
