"Nice slice of nature on the edge of the city. Trails are a bit slippery/muddy with the rain but we'll marked and quiet to walk around. Frog song is loud out by the ponds!"
"Very pretty and loved seeing all the birds of prey. The ducks and turtles in the Teal Pond was super cool too! Will definitely be going back…. Several times."
"This morning we enjoyed a pleasant autumn walk among mostly golden-leafed trees. Birdhouses line the walk up to the visitor center and gift shop. A short walk from there to the children's play area. "Enjoy meeting some of Utah’s native animal species up-close through our live exhibits of birds of prey, snakes, salamanders, tortoises, and spiders." While there is the trail to walk and things to see, check out their website for events and activities."
"Gorgeous place, perfect for a walk with the family, friends or solo. It's surrounded by short, easy trails and their gift shop has so many fun gifts for loved ones (especially if they love birds)! I do recommend taking not only sunscreen and a big water bottle but also a bug spray."
"Great place to for hidden groves, ponds, and shady trails. I especially enjoyed the birdhouse trail. Actually, I was blown away by the sheer number of clever and beautiful bird houses. There are several kinds to explore and if you are lucky you might see a turtle, or three. The Bird of Prey area was also very enjoyable. Such gorgeous owls, hawks and eagles to see. There is a great playground for the children, with pails in the sand and a water pump to add to the fun. There is even a children's library near the playground with some interesting books to read. There are shady chairs to rest on and fantastic sculptures for the kids to climb on. About a mile and a half of trails to wander and even a hidden "mouse hole" to find. Spend a pleasant day enjoying nature and support the wonderful educational programs in this unique getaway."
