"*We are not current students* but I work in the mental health field and place a lot more value on safety, body movement, effective discipline methods, value systems, etc than I do on test scores. I think if those core needs are met then the learning will come naturally. I toured and interviewed several charter schools and athlos was my first pick. I drilled the staff a bit on IEPs, bullying, behavior management, etc and the athlos staff answered the questions in a comfortable and natural way, it didn’t ruffle them and they seemed confident in their response. I also saw proof of the values being implemented while I toured the school, something that I didn’t see in other schools. It’s easy for schools to post values on their website to make licensors happy, it’s another thing to ingrain them in every day practice. I felt like I could see that in athlos. Again, not current students, but based on what I have seen I’m going with athlos."

When my son with sever speech issues was kinder age again our neighborhood school couldn’t help athlos gave him intense speech therapy and a 1 on 1 para educator."

"We have had two of our kids attend Athlos and have been very pleased with the staff and the attention we have received from them. It is a new school and they are definitely learning but I think they are on the right track."
