Kearns Junior High School, located at 4040 Westsams Boulevard in Kearns, Utah, is a school dedicated to engaging students and families in the Kearns community. Our mission is to provide a safe environment where diverse students can become empowered learners and build self-worth through academic and social growth.
We are currently accepting applications for the 2024-2025 school year through our Open Enrollment – Early Application Period, which runs from November 15, 2023 to February 2, 2024. This is the recommended time to apply for enrollment.
Join us for our 3rd annual STEM Night on November 15, 2023 from 6-8 PM. Students can form teams with their friends to build a Rube Goldberg Machine that will water a plant. Teams will compete for the chance to win first place.

"Dedicated teachers and faculty cannot make up for the poor funding provided to the schools in the Granite School District, and Utah at large. KJH is a positive influence on the community despite many obstacles, but it could certainly use some updates."

"The ONLY reason why I loved this school was because of my young (early to mid 20's) filing teacher I had (I will NOT reveal the name) was attractive and I couldn't resist that looks she had...... (NUFF SAID). I've attended this school from 2000 to 2003. The thing I HATED about this school was kids picking fights with one another for NO APPARENT REASON!! To many intolerance towards certain people. Their pizza is grossly greasy, their fries are soggy, and their milk is often stale and disgusting. I'm glad I was done back in 2003."
