"I decided to go back to college after having twins. I needed a place to take them where I felt at ease leaving them for several hours a day. After calling many places and touring some The Learning Ladder was the only place kind to me. They treated me like family the day I walked in the door. They were pretty full but told me they would do their best to work with my schedule. I never looked anywhere else. My twins attended this facility until they began public school. Even after I finished college I kept taking them so they could keep up social skills and friendships. They would ask to go to daycare because they absolutely adored all the teachers, the director and all the employees there. It was one of the hardest decision I have had to make taking my kids out of this daycare. I only chose to take them out because they had began public school and due to current situations I didn’t need the extra child care. I would recommend Learning Ladder to anyone that wants their children treated with love and care as if they were family."
"I've been taking my kids to them for 2 years and I love them! They have been so loving and caring for both my kids, which is always a great comfort while I'm working. I always know for sure they are in good hands, and they keep me up to date through their app. They always have awesome interactive, different age- appropriate activities, games, and projects that help growth and development which I love to hear about from my oldest! They even have fun little events that they plan like Movie Night or Halloween party that make it feel like a family get- together. If you want wonderful motherly care for your kids, knowing that they will be safe, I highly recommend them! I'm very grateful that I found such a great daycare!"
"I genuinely believe that my son is the happy, trusting, and genuine person he is, 90% thanks to his time at the Learning Ladder (I gotta claim our 10, just because we made him!). He's made friends with all the children he's met, AND all the teachers, and he's so empathetic and helpful! Really, the relationship dynamic between all of us is comparative to coparenting. And I love it and am grateful for it! I'm also super grateful for Rosemary, the director, for working with me and providing resources when things get weird or tough, and helping me to ensure my child can get the care he needs while his parents work! (Namedrop ban lifted for, you know, the owner of the business LOL) I've seen reviews on here complaining largely of cleanliness, and while some level of disorder is to be expected at a DAYCARE, I just don't get it. I've brought my baby here almost every weekday of his life from the time he was old enough to attend, and the only time I've seen something "disgusting" was when there has been a blowout or sickness related accident, and even then there's someone on top of it comforting the child and cleaning up. I've been called as my son was throwing up, and within the 10 minutes it took me to get there, he'd been bathed, changed, snuggled, and given water and an icepack for his temp. When he started transitioning to the toddler class, the teachers communicated his bum changes, his typical eating habits, and even when his sheet and blanket were last washed (on a weekly schedule per room!) to each other. Whenever I've needed to use a restroom, they've been clean and neat, and if something is amiss in the KID'S (again, this is a daycare guys, we're supposed to expect that not all kids go potty perfectly!) toilets, it's handled immediately by staff. Speaking of staff, let's talk about them for a moment. I won't name names, and I certainly don't have enough time to "review" everybody, but my son's teachers need some props! His teachers in the baby class have given him SO much love, that it overflows and he shares it with the world. And it's not like they've let him do whatever he wants, he's learned great manners from them as well as how to help out. If you're reading this in consideration of bringing a baby to this center, you really must visit to meet the girls, because I can't do them justice with written word! I also want to thank his toddler teachers, because he's not even 2 and has a big interest in potty, letters, table manners, and other "big kid stuff" after joining them! Again, if you're looking to bring a toddler here, these teachers are so patient and understanding, and prepared for practically anything a toddler can throw at them. Sometimes literally. And, of course, although I reeeeally want to mention her name but I won't, the front desk lady is our absolute favorite! She greets everybody with boisterous enthusiasm, and makes everyone feel welcome and loved right from the start. If your morning is off to a bad start, she'll turn that around and possibly not even know it! My ramblings have gone on plenty long. It's taken me a very long to even review this establishment, because it deserves the 1 hour I've put into it (more, even) with how much they've done for my little family. I'm going forward with continued service and a high recommendation, and hope that more people will be inspired to leave their positive reviews, because let's be honest, we're too quick to blast a bad experience before giving attention to all the good that there is."
"Quick to promise to follow my child's dietary needs, but didn't follow through. When I came to drop off/pick up my child, I consistently saw staff interacting with each other--not with the kids. I came to pick up my child at lunch time and found plates of food that were not cut to a safe size. I sat down to talk to my kid and two other kids(not kids that I even know) walked up and gave me their plates and asked me to cut their food so they could eat it. At the time, there were three other adults in the room. None of them seemed to notice. No daily notes communicating what the kids did/ate/when they napped etc. Once, I received an "incident report" stating that another child had hit my child and taken a toy away. Incidents happen, no big deal. What bothered me is that the incident report I received was dated a week prior to the day I received it. Tried to send my kid home with someone else's blanket--twice in two weeks. Dirty."
"We found Learning Ladder after searching for a daycare for months. Even though we were put on the waiting list, when we were finally able to start daycare, I was amazed that the staff knew right away who he was although we hadn't been there for many months. The transition was a rough one for our little one and took roughly two months for him to get used to it, but the staff was very caring and considerate in helping ease that transition as much as they could. It was comforting to know the staff cared and enjoyed my child as much as I do. The staff is very helpful in addressing any questions, problems, or concerns, and the director, Rosemary, is phenomenal. I highly recommend this facility."
