"Sending my daughter to Life Quest was an incredibly difficult choice. She had lost her respect for her family and herself. She was skipping school and being deceitful and dishonest to everyone. She was not putting forth any effort in participating appropriately in any aspect of her life. Life Quest's model of starting from nothing and earning everything you get was instrumental in showing her just how much she had at home...not just material things, but the caring and loving family that many of the students there did not have. The program showed her how to think for herself and gave her a new found confidence to choose the right path as well as other critical life skills she needs to be successful in life. She would not listen to those lessons at home, but in the very structured and limited access environment at Life Quest, she could finally see how important those were all along. Rachel is amazing and communicated with me probably more than she expected to, but my daughter was in someone else's care, and this mother needed frequent and thorough communication to help ease the separation and worry. Rachel never once made me feel unimportant and truly had my daughter and my best interests at heart. The positive changes my daughter has made are very encouraging and we could not be happier to have our sweet and wonderful daughter back."

"The staff tried everything in their power to help our daughter. We are extremely grateful for the help and support they provided our family during our daughter’s 3 month stay. Ultimately she proved she was just not going to let them help her. Only when it started to negatively affect the other students were we asked to remove her from the program. Nothing but respect for the staff and program. Highly recommend."

"My daughter attended Life Quest because we were out of options and didn't want to revert to unnecessary medications or an umbrella diagnosis. Life Quest made such a positive impact on our family. My daughter received a much needed non-therapeutic reset coupled with coping skills and good schooling. I was impressed with the communication from the directors and appreciated how well the staff balanced daily care while also ensuring accountability for the actions of the girls. I am so thankful that we found Life Quest!"

"Well, my story is not a typical program success story. It was rough, hard, and totally my fault. It didn’t have a happy ending. I went to Quest to calm down and learn life skills before transitioning into every day life after leaving another residential. While there, I got involved with the wrong people which led to a suicide attempt. They handled the attempt appropriately and took me to the ER. There I was assessed and brought to a inpatient hospital in Salt Lake City. They gave me another chance, which I am grateful for. Then after two months, I self sabotaged and cut myself and went back to the ER. Then I went back to my old residential. Why I failed this program is not the fault of the program or the leadership because Boomer and Rachael are incredible people and amazing leaders who are finding their way in a brutal and often unforgiving industry. In treatment, the patient has a choice. I chose wrong at Quest, but chose right elsewhere taking the lessons that I leaned about life and death and becoming a better person. I’m alive today because of the quick thinking of Jannette. I’m afraid I don’t know her last name, but because of her I got to have the chance to graduate high school and go to college. Because of Boomer, I now face my fears. Because of Rachael, I now know the true consequences of my actions. Because of Tanner, I tell the truth. Because of Lizzy, I laugh my way through life. I did that anyway, but now I do it more appropriately. If you’re wondering why there are so many bad reviews, they’re people less mature than me posting reviews in emotional spots. I said earlier that treatment poses questions for the family as well as the patient or recipient. For the family, am I willing to grow along the way? Do I have the courage and compassion to hold boundaries? For the patient or recipient, do I want to change? Why? What am I willing to give up in order to change? Anyway. I give this 5 out of 5. Only after I gained the maturity and wisdom to handle it. Wow. This was longer than I expected. Sorry. Thank you. I hope you choose right. Stay in the arena!"

"DO NOT send your child to this facility. As a student coming from Life Quest, these people do not care about your children at all. Medical diagnosis (depression, anxiety, suicidal thoughts) are not taken serious and if you try to bring the attention to a staff member, they will either 1.) tell you it’s a choice 2.) don’t do anything about it. You are not able to freely express your emotions at this facility nor are you able to creativity express yourself. As a teen, growing up in this generation, this facility is not what your kids need. It will only set them up for failure. I know this as a student who went to Life Quest for 10 months. They will manipulate, lie, and try to sweep incidents under the rug, that should be brought to the authorities attention. It is really sad that this place is still up and running, because no child should have to spend 10 months of their life in a facility that doesn’t care for their needs. This place needs some serious inspections."
