"My husband and I visited this weekend while we were down in Provo. This was our first time visiting. We really enjoyed to food we ordered, but the service was rushed and it was a long wait. We ordered the Calamari as an appetizer. The Calamari was alright, and we ordered 5 sushi rolls. All which were delicious! We ordered the Rock Shrimp, BSCR, Big Sumo, and the Baked Lobster roll. My husband’s favorite was the Rock Shrimp and mine was the BSCR. We look forward to trying it again soon!"
"The sushi wasn’t that great, specifically the rolls. Sashimi was ok, disappointed by the salmon and tuna, and the escolar which is my favorite was stringy for some reason. Hopefully the waitress has a better night as well."

"We come here often to enjoy some of the best sushi our city has to offer. If you’re lucky you’ll get Abril as your waitress. She is by far the best waitress we’ve ever had at any restaurant. She’s friendly & informative about the menu & always on top of it. We love Happy Sumo. So fresh and always hits the spot."
