"The ambience/decor: A+ paying homage to Mexican culture and inspired design. The quality of food: A+ Why spend your money at bland Costa Vida or Cafe Rio when you can spend your money here, and leave with your stomach happy and your soul delighted. If you like cinnamon, be sure to wash it down with an iced Horchata. The service: B+ I always ask for extra salsa but they always seem to forget to give it to me. Otherwise no complaints."
"I recently visited Red Tacos and was blown away by their authentic birria tacos, which taste exactly like the traditional Mexican recipe! The flavor is spot on and worth 4 stars alone. However, the service and facilities are just okay - the place can seem a bit messy and disorganized since there are no waiters and you only interact with the cashier and cooks when picking up your food. But let's be real, the food is the real star here and I'd highly recommend Red Tacos for a delicious and authentic birria experience."
"the salsas were the best part, although very spicy. we enjoyed the street tacos the most of three items we got. based on all the yummy street tacos we’ve had in life, this is a solid 3/5!"
"Love this place, went there last night and got the quesadilla and queso tacos. I’ve also had their street tacos and consome before. Would definitely recommend this place to everyone. The birria beef they use is phenomenal. Prices are getting a little high which makes me sad, but the taste is great. Wouldn’t recommend the street tacos, but everything else I would recommend. Hoping to come back soon."
"Pretty great! Great value between quality and quantity. Stopped here for date night on Saturday around 530pm or so? The location was busy but not packed at that time, but some 15 min later or so it was a madhouse. Which is a good sign :) but could be frustrating depending on where you are in the matrix of Have a Timetable and Want Tacos Desperately. There are two doors, so you can enter from either. This is great depending on what parking is looking like when you’re there. I felt like the line was designed a little strangely, in that most people while we were there seemed to be confused on where they should enter the line, but if you enter where most people seemed to think was “right” you were really close to the counter and viewing the menu was more difficult. It would be helpful to have more screens with that menu, or some printouts to see while in line, and the menu didn’t have descriptions on unfamiliar words and terms. So a printout of a menu that also had descriptions would be really helpful for making sure that when people get up to order, they are as ready as possible. I delayed the line probably 3 min just asking about what some of the things were. Just a thought to help optimize a location that is popular enough to get very busy. Food arrived in good time. Right before I would have said in my mind, “Hmmm. This is taking a while.” Wifey ordered a burrito and I got a combo with two of the three kinds of tacos and then ordered a third. So between both of us we were able to try a lot of the menu, and since there was a good quantity of food with each order, that was a great perk. We both enjoyed the taste and quality of the food! I would have enjoyed one or two more sauce options, but the sauce I got (the mildest one ) was flavorful with the tiniest amount of kick. The items we had were fried, so that might be the one point I would have preferred to have had different, since that can add up at a taco joint. All things considered, Red Tacos is being added to our core group of “go to” Mexican/Latino favs."
