Kickin Seafood

"Every oyster had gritty crunchy shell in it. They did refund me for the ones I didn’t eat when I gave up after the first few. Also no choices on the oysters. I know you can’t really be a seafood snob in UT county but any restaurant that chooses to serve them should at least know how to shuck them. There shouldn’t be that much shell in every single piece. Presentation wasn’t great either with scattered limes. No lemon available which was also odd. Weird fake flavor in the butter… Might be cutting it with some kind of oil or margarine. And when I ordered 1/2lb of 3 different things they didn’t give me any corn or potatoes. Their menu says you get it with 1lb but when I asked about it on the way out they said you have to order 1lb of the same thing. Makes no sense and they couldn’t explain why."

"Updated menu Nov. 2033 Fun, different, and fast! We got the #1 Pick 3 and shared it between 2 people with sweet potato fries for the appetizer. It was plenty of food to share! The fries were crispy hot right out of the fryer! (It's my favorite when the fries are so hot you can't eat them right off, and that's what these were.) We opted for shrimp, mussels, and crawfish. Everything tasted great, nothing too fishy. We ate with our hands and finished it all, perfectly full! Things to know: - Seafood is served in shells with heads, though you can request to have the heads removed for an extra cost - the #1 mean is enough for 2 people to share - fast service! There was hardly a wait and everything came out hot - the mild, medium, hot heat scale seems accurate. We got medium, I felt a warm heat without feeling like spice distracted from the meal. Be warned the corn cobs seem to hold the heat/spice more than the other items."

"This place is nice and clean and better than most "boils" as far as smell and decor. Our waiter was super friendly and prompt! Great service. The food was excellent flavor and even tho it's price is rather high (as most boils are) its still my favorite non buffet sea food spot! Wife and I love it!"

"Clean and bright restaurant- portion and price are very good- seasoning is spot on. Food comes out quickly too. Our server is the best part of our dinner today- Blade is sooo friendly and welcoming - he is AMAZING!"

"I can't believe there is a great seafood place in Orem, Utah! I thought my seafood days were done when we moved from Oregon last year. We had a large party for a birthday celebration, they gave us our own room and the service was still awesome. They were able to tailor the spices per person, so everyone was happy, even the picky kids! Will definitely go again. A little on the high-price per person side, but worth it."
