"My experience going into Dr. Smith’s office was amazing. She listened to me and treated me like I actually mattered. She suggested that I have a laparoscopic hysterectomy and I agreed. I left the office so happy and hopeful because I was one step closer to getting rid of the debilitating pain I have been experiencing. I called a few days ago and the receptionist informed me that Dr. Smith transferred all of my medical records to another physician because she is leaving at the end of the year. I was pretty shocked to hear this because I had my initial exam at the beginning of October it is now November. So my question is why did she recommended the surgery if she was leaving? I feel like she had to have been putting the wheels in motion before my appointment. Now I have the option to wait to meet with the new physician or find another doctor at a different facility. I am so saddened by this because I wasted my time with Dr. Smith. I am sure there are other patients going through the same thing. Dr Smith is a great doctor but this situation makes me look at her differently. I will have to wait well into 2022 for my hysterectomy. Thanks for nothing Dr. Smith!"
