Finding a doctor who deeply cares can be challenging these days. So to find Dr. Avila has been wonderful!"

"Dr lost my moms test results twice one that was very urgent for her surgery and us doing our best to call both places to make sure the surgery center received it as the date to operate came closer well thats when we were told that the Dr lost it and to come in and retest only because we kept calling. 6-8 months later the retests weren't fully covered by insurances and we get billed because repeats aren't fully covered and after calling for days to weeks we finally have a chance to go to the Dr's office to find out all the nurses quit the place and that's why they weren't open and the day they do open its just the Dr and a male "nurse" that looks like a homeless they "trained" themselves and his wife that has no clue how to do anything but working the front finally ask the Dr whats he gonna do about these mistakes he did and why is our insurances and us having to pay for his mistakes. we didn't mind if insurances paid but now coming out of our pocket too was the final straw. He was explaining the things he did that day but yeah we know but why do we have to pay for mistakes he made, nope nothing my mother changed to him from another dr that was way to old and barley awake we used for our whole lives to another terrible dr thats too old maybe if he used to be good well we didn't experience any of it. if my mother had not been operated on because of his mistakes I would have looked into a lawyer. this is not a joke. he can lie and deflect all he wants even delete my review but medical records, call logs and receipts don't lie and better yet nurses that just quit can probably back up our experience we know one very well from our past Dr's office and mentioning we know one of them seemed to make em more upset."

"Absolutely love the people hear the nurses behind the desk staff that do all the hard work super awesome friendly and willing to go above and beyond to make sure that your needs are met and the doctor really cares for the patients just a lovable person would highly recommend"

"Dr Avila prescribed the wrong meds for me. I went to see Dr Avila as a new patient ladt month. I took in what meds I take with me as requested. I needed thyroid meds I had been out. I took the thyroid meds n couldn't sleep. So I quit taking. I just happened to look at the meds n the thyroid meds was duplicated. I take 2 different meds. So I'm sure that's why I cldnt sleep the night I took the meds. Today I went and checked at the pharmacy to see if they had messed up. They showed me the prescription. They just filled his order. He had prescribed the wrong medicine for me. So I'm going to request I be reimbursed for the money I spent on the wrong meds n I'm writing this review."
