Tamashi Ramen (Orem)

"Kids loved their Ramen dishes. Sesame balls were delicious. I ordered avegas burrito, and it was good except the last couple of bites as the sushi rice was mushy and soft. Ordered cheese won tons, but they never came, and we just forgot about it. Not a bad experience overall!"

"If we’d stopped after the sushi, the review would’ve probably been a 5-star instead of 3. We came in around 3:40ish and they were popping with business. All the small tables had people at them and there was a line to check out, so we waited a few minutes to be sat at a table. The lady gave us our menus and we sat there for several more minutes before the guy came to take our orders. The ramen menu was slightly confusing because it lists a bunch of different broth types for $0.35, but they all automatically come with a basic pork broth. We got a Texas roll, chicken katsu ramen, and seafood ramen. The Texas roll was so AMAZING I forgot to take pictures and I may send my husband by just to get another one of those again later. The ramen was rather mid-range as far as taste. Far from the worst we’ve ever had, but definitely not the best either. My husband’s katsu was cooked perfectly, but my shrimp were over cooked (I honestly don’t know enough about mussels to say if they were overcooked or not). My husband didn’t want the mushrooms, so he told the server that and the server applied it to mine as well even though I explicitly said I did want mushrooms, but oh well. The server took quite a while to bring our check and we paid at the front. Overall, very mid-range with it not being bad but also not super great. We may give it another go while we’re in town."

"This place is awesome! We have been coming since they opened. We still call it "the new place that just opened" but I can't believe it's actually been 4 years in Orem! Their sushi and ramen variety has really grown in that time! The place was packed tonight, but they sat us fast, took our order fast, and our food got to us fast!! Can't say enough good things about this place! Very delicious! You get a bang for your buck!"
