"ABSOLUTELY UNBELIEVABLY GREAT! Hands down the best sushi I've ever had. I'd rank this right next to any sushi in SFO, NYC or DC. Pretty crazy to think amazing sushi could be in Utah, but I'm telling you, it is incredibly good."
"Their omakase option is awesome! The chef is very enthusiastic and prepared the fish very well. Uni is fresh and sweet, from Hokkaido. Best value get out of the price. I came here twice within 3 days."
"We came in at around 9 pm. It took them AN HOUR to make some sushi. Cmon guys, it’s not rocket science. In the meantime the server is inattentive to our table while constantly checking on the adjacent tables. I understand that there may be staffing shortages in the kitchen but this kind of service is inexcusable. The fish in the sashimi and nigiri is good quality, though the tonkatsu not so much; thin slices of pork and mediocre rice."
"Dined in during my trip but it was surprisingly the best omakase I’ve ever tried! Each dish was a highlight and I’d 100% love to come back for the following reasons: - Superb food: The food was excellent not just in the quality but also in quantity. This is an omakase experience where you leave contentedly full. For under $100, the 15-course offering was lavish and intricately flavored with most dishes comprising three or more ingredients, leading to a great richness of flavors. The chef served generous amounts of uni in multiple courses. Across all the courses, freshness was also visible. - Experimental combinations: some sushi courses were made with atypical but tasty flavors, and regular ingredients were redesigned and house-made, including their liver sauce, smoky & sweet soy sauce, pistachio ice cream, etc. Some of them were an exciting twist to the traditional sushi experience. - Great service: The 15-course meal was not just a dining experience but also an educational one. Our chef provided insights into the flavors of fish & uni from different origins, and knowledge about wasabi from different parts of the plant. The ingredient combinations, and sushi-making and searing technique sharing also let us know what to look for when tasting them. Overall a must-try experience, and please consider opening a chain in NorCal!!"
"The sushi offered here is without any doubt the best you will find in the state of Utah. No other location offers higher quality or freshness than this for the price point! My wife and I enjoyed the Omakase here and it was by far the most memorable dining experience I have ever had. Each dish was prepared in front of us and were all executed perfectly. I cannot recommend the Omakase more for any upcoming special occasions you might have in your life! 10/10 experience. It's a 15-17 course meal and each "course" is usually a single bite. Here's just a few of those courses we enjoyed!"
