"Beautiful charming restaurant as far as ambiance. Sadly, it won the award for the only meal I have ever sent back in my entire 57 years of life for being inedible. I ordered the reuban sandwich and although much grease squeezed out when I bit in I could tell the slaw and sauce were good on the grilled bread...but the issue? One actually could not even bite the corned beef. It wasn't shaved thin which was odd for a reuben but I could have handled that, had I been able to bite into the meat of the sandwich. I could not. It actually ruined the bread and tore apart the sandwich trying to bite that touch shoe leather meat. I tried another section to see if I just had a bad cut and the whole sandwich could not be chewed. Hard as leather. So, for the first time in my life I sent a meal back. As for my dining partner, she experienced something not much better for the smash burger. The bun was actually cold, which is impossible for a freshly made smash burger, but that part was not warmed. It was cool that it had a brand on the bun with the restaurant name, but it was over cooked and meh. Oddly, the cheese was not melted one bit though. Not sure what was up but boy did we hit a bad night."

"Very high class restaurant inside the hotel. Nice menu selection with and even bigger alcohol menu. Prices are expensive, but quality of the food is impeccable. Celebrating my wife's birthday and they surprised her with an on-the-house dessert that was delicious. Staff was helpful and very friendly."

"We had an amazing time at The Rare Room. We were serviced by René and Connor. They were friendly, fun, and spoke Spanish to our family of 4. We ordered cocktails, appetizers, sides and dessert. This was such a great way to experience some of what they had to offer. The service was quick and the food was delicious. We ordered the butter board, 4 sweet corn and saffron bisque, millionaire’s bacon, gouda mac and cheese with bacon, the truffled potato gratin, and the pecan pralin brownie sundae. Everything was tasty and flavorful. The butter board and the millionaire’s bacon are a must have. We all shared and it was plenty of food. The only feedback we had was that the soup could have been hotter. The flavor and spice was perfect! Thank you Connor for making our evening an experience!"

"This was one of the best restaurants I’ve been to at Salt Lake City. I got personal recommendations from each employee. Leonardo recommended the lamb. My friend and I both got it and we devoured it. There was no meat left haha. Patricia recommended the honey bee cocktail. I had 2, excellent choice. Rene recommended the huckleberry peach cobbler. They were super attentive, I got excellent service! Would come to Utah just to eat this food again."
