"Wow, would give 0 stars if I could. I don’t venture out much any more usually so my shopping online for this exact reason… tonight around 6pm my family and I came in and there was one female employee in the front at the register and I asked her for a size 4.5 in a certain shoe for my son…. She came back out and literally, blankly, only words at all- said to me “5 or 5.5” …. I stared at her and said “Oh, no we need 4.5” and she AGAIN said “5 or 5.5” nothing more nothing less. What a horrible attitude! Absolutely no customer service whatsoever let alone sales service. Honestly it will make me never buy through Champs again! I don’t know how desperate you have to be to have employees like that but it was just awful. We went over to Foot Locker and had amazing customer services and bought shoes + socks, shoutout to those ladies!!!!"
"Not a great selection. But more importantly, the store employee said I HAD to give my phone number to make a purchase. She said her system would not allow her to even go forward with the sale without my phone number. I could not get a printed receipt, only emailed or via text. Also, it was supposed to be tax-free weekend here in Oklahoma City. I got tax-free everywhere else except here at this store. She said it was because my purchase was over $100 her system could not take off the tax. She wasn't very nice not apologetic either.."
"I came in there and I got great service Marlicia & I believe her name was Keyona they were great!!! They should get bonuses !!"
"Was browsing through the store on Saturday the 5th of February with my twin 13 year old boys. One of my sons picked up a package of boxers that had a million dollars on them. He showed them to me and insisted that he needed them because he had socks to match and they are his lucky socks. I told him no and he put them down. We continued to browse the store and then I left the store leaving my boys there. I went to the store next door for a minute when my boys came to me and informed me that the manager I believe his name is Marty stopped them and made them show him where they left the underwear before they could leave the store. My boys are biracial. All of the staff at the store this day was African American minus the manager Marty. Marty never greeted us or spoke to us. But he made sure to stop my biracial children at the door. When they told me what happened I went and confronted him. I asked him if he stopped everyone at the door when they pick something up and decide not to get it. He said he did if he didn't see where they put it. He then said he didn't accuse them of stealing. Which I rebuttalled that he did with his action. In 38 years being a white woman I've never been stopped at the door of any store because I didn't put something back where I found it. It's interesting to me that non of the other staff members approached my boys. They are straight A kids. They are kind and polite. They have never been in any kind of trouble. They are involved in athletics and have two parents that love them. We try to teach them how to be leaders and have great character regardless of how people treat them. So they complied with the outlandish request. But they should of never been put in that situation by an adult. I was just there with them. I'm appalled at in 2022 people are judged by their skin color. And Marty should be held accountable for his actions."
"The employees here were real helpful for us. Kept asking if we were doing alright and if we needed help. Gave us a military discount. Walked out with new shoes."
